Had a text from a friend saying that after Weir resigned on Wednesday Les is near to pulling out of Well. Anyone else hear anything or able to expand ?

I was talking to Scott McDonald in Faro Airport last summer.He was returning from a training week in the Algarve with his team. My son and I were getting pictures taken with him. Very friendly guy and was laughing when I asked him , " Do you not wish you had stayed with Motherwell and be about to play in Europe next week ? ". I know its unlikely that he is returning but cant understand the small mindedness of some folk on here. Would have any quality like him at Fir Park anytime.

I think its all down to my boy. I started taking him to Well games at the beginning of 2011 and he has only witnessed great times. He was even the mascot for a win in a Europa game at Fir Park. So you can name any of the above managers but I know the real reason.

When Stuart arrived did he not say that he would deliver an attacking style and if that if that resulted in high scoring wins then that's fine by him , as long as its a win. Going by some of the post above some of us are enjoying " the entertainment" of goals.

WITH THIS STATEMENT FROM THE CLUB I WAS STRAIGHT ON THE PHONE TO RENEW OUR SEASON TICKETS. WELL DONE TO THE BOARD.

I actually said today at the game that it is great that we don't play route one football. We do try to play from the back and don't hoof it up the park and hope for the best. As an aside, we were given entertainment today on and off the pitch. My son and I had a great day.

Daly was not interested on Saturday because he thought it was too cold. He had his socks pulled ip over his knees. I think he just wanted taken off as he did not want to play in that weather.

Here is a story for any of the players who were on the pitch for Motherwell at Tannadice. My nine year old and I attend every game apart from Aberdeen and Inverness ( round trip just too far for a nine year old ).He plays for a local under 10s team every Saturday and kicks off either at 10 or 12. For some of Motherwells early kick offs he sacrifices his own game to go to watch Motherwell. On Saturday his game kicked off at 12 and finished at 1pm; he was going to ask his coach if he could just play the first half and leave at half time but I told him that was not a good idea and we would go as fast as we could up to Dundee and maybe only miss a little of the game. We left at 1 and managed to arrive with time to spare paying £30+ for entry and then £10 for food add on the petrol cost which going at a fairly "brisk" speed was not too little. Please be aware that our fans have all got stories like this and we put in a lot of effort and money to support our team. I just thought it might carry more weight with an actul story rather than a general moan. Next time you run out remember some of the above and do it for us.
