  1. I don't think it's a coincidence that Campbell best game was when Pearo was in midfield with him
  2. What was the banner never saw it or read a post about it?? The last two games I went looking forward to a win and have say I was confident of victories even took us on my coupon yday (done me out of £180) but with the enthusiasm I had entering ground I have to say I don't think of been so deflated about a defeat. I honestly don't think we even look capable of creating a chance never mind score. I applauded Robinson pre match for bold selection choices but subs made ruined any chance of a comeback. Jules has cost us in almost every game he has played and it's has been documented both Faddy and Robinson watched him have a shocker for the u20s but he gets the nod in our most important game of season. Clay I don't blame him but why bring him on at that stage removing Campbell but keeping Lesley on who was running on empty when a more attack minded player would have been the obvious choice. It's still in our own hands but lesson need to be learned.
  3. Good changed IMO shocked he has balls to drop Samson, glad Ainsworth is starting, looking forward to this even more now
  4. Not a player but Baraclough named Northern Ireland u21 manager
  5. I think we were short of attackers last week when Skippy went off, Shea Gordon hasn't had much experience for such an important game and Faddy coming on as a sub will give everyone a wee boost. He is still younger than some of the squad and I'm sure still has some magic left. I agree fitness might be a problem but I think he might be a good impact sub for last 20 minutes
  6. I don't think Campbell and Lasley looked good together I would get Lucas back in the side at least on bench as he offers something a bit different, hopefully Pearo comes back fitter and back to himself. Need the defence changed around a bit, Luke Watt at right back possibly
  7. I don't think we will go down but change is needed, Heneghan isn't good enough but with lack of cover he isn't gonna get dropped. Our central midfield was poor was hearing today Lucas is fit but not fancied by Robinson surely he offers more than some on our bench. Samson is poor but can't see him being dropped the worry for me is we don't seem to have much we can change
  8. I thought we looked most dangerous with Cadden at right back and Ainsworth on but not sure we will start that way but it seemed to work well against Inverness
  9. Simo is far to much of a gamble in our current position I would be shocked if he even makes shortlist, he isn't what we need at the moment. If it was a choice of him and Robinson I would opt for Robinson even though I have previously been critical. I have a feeling someone not yet mentioned may be in the running
  10. For me I think Robinson should not be considered for the job, I don't dislike him but he has been part of the last two managerial teams which have been sacked so surely his input must have an influence on the results. Just look at his time at Oldham since he has left they have improved. I just think the whole point of sacking McGhee is to bring a fresh approach and appointment of Robinson would be much of the same we have had this season. I don't dislike the guy but we need a fresh approach.
  11. A name on the betting I would take is Steve Cotteril he is an outsider but quite fancy someone with his background, Coyle is my first choice but think these two may outwith our reach

    Mcghee Out?

I haven't spoken to a well fan that wants him to remain in post this must influence any decision made by the board.
  13. Anyone know what is happening with Craig Moore know he had a similar injury to McHugh but not heard much in a long time

    Mcghee Out?

I couldn't agree more, on Saturday the fact Skippy is out and Bowman isn't considered and rather play Lionel out of position shows he can't be rated at all. To be honest I don't know what position Bowman is or where he fits into our system. Blyth has been injured/unfit but he appears way off the mark. I wonder if Mackin would have got a shot if he wasn't out on loan but think as a result of the project Brave scoring system more youth players will go out on loan
  15. Watt didn't really get much game time at Stranraer so for me that much count for something
  16. The point I find quite interesting was made by Busta re revenue from players such as Marvin. Our youth policy hasn't exactly made us loads of cash and in fact Flow stated Marvin was the most lucrative transfer for many years. That said I still think it a farce we aren't considered an"elite" club given numerous reasons provided and also the fact we have remained in top flight since early 80s. Overall I thing project Brave will be yet another system that falls away quite quickly so it doesn't worry me too much. In relation to the podcast a great listen especially re the transfer window, well done guys
  17. Mutual not metal, well spotted
  18. Spoke to Reynolds a good few times through a metal friend, has never said anything negative about Motherwell at all if anything appreciated the development he got when here
  19. What is Dom contract? Is his contract up at end of season?
  20. 1991

    Dom Thomas

Dom was one of the players I was sure would be the next Faddy, he looked so exciting and had something special about him. He has never progressed when given his chance. In his defence he has never had a run in the team and has mostly been a sub. I really want him to come good as in bits and bobs he has shown he has great ability. I suppose what I'm asking is what does the majority think should be done with Dom, I actually think he is behind McLean in the pecking order. I think a loan move to a team like Falkirk or Queen Of South would be the best for him as I can't see him getting a run in our team any time soon
  21. To be fair to Beaton on the goal is was his Linesman who was bang in line who didn't give the decision, he was is a far better position than Beaton who did look toward the Linesman who didn't flag
  22. I have never been a McGhee hater, but the 2nd half performance and his lack of tactical awareness asked serious questions, I'm still happy he is manager but another couple of repeats of today then I will re think
  23. Terrible double change for McGhee when playing long ball he brings on Thomas and McLean which killed the midfield, Bowman should have came on to win headers and physical presence. Clay and Las in middle just don't work well together, Clay performance last week compared to this week is unmeasurable. The only players who got pass marks were Samson and Tait. Cadden looked good first half but was not in game when moved to central role. This long ball we play is killing us, Heneghan who had his worst performance lumps it every chance he has. Shocking performance
  24. Thanks mate was looking for ages
  25. Anyone know who the 20s play in the cup in Sunday if local might go and watch it. Can't seem to find a fixture list anywhere
