Is Boyd a realistic option though? Would a pay day - Aberdeen or Dundee Utd be more attractive than possibly a couple of euro games and a dog fight for 2nd-6th place on less money? I'd like to come, he would score goals! Just can't see it happening ...

By 'not willing to commit' I'm more meaning they haven't been vocal on wanting to stay.. McManus for example has been vocal that he would want to commit if/when we can offer him it etc

Basically, what's peoples thoughts around out of contact players, and if they are not willing to commit or have already stated they will be off at the end of the season, when or if do we look to drop them for a youngster who might take their place next season? I know were still fighting for 2nd, and perhaps only really Hutchinson has signalled he isn't staying, but thought I'd see what folk think? Personally, if it was up to me, I'd be dropping anyone who hasn't got any intention of hanging around, and getting some on the younger ones in. Look at what Leitch and Moore have done when they get the chance! Thoughts?

Hollis lasted 45mins of the under 20s game on Tuesday. After 30mins he got the defenders taking the by-kicks so guessed he had pulled something. Was solid enough looking against a pretty strong st mirren team! Young lad that played the second half looked not bed too, Currie I believe? Although sure he only looked 14/15 though!

Interesting to hear on the radio post match about 'a number' of seats in the south stand being ripped up by the away support.. No mention of it on here as far as I can see. If true im sure we will here more about it, and see if Aberdeen do the right thing a pay up!
