We’re starting to get pretty consistent at not winning, that’s one win in five now with three very tough games coming up. The football has certainly improved but it’s important to start getting more points on the board even if it’s playing hoofball at times.

I thought so. I’m personally not big on the monarchy but I don’t have a problem with what’s happening. We now live in the world of social media where keyboard Warriors rule, Where there is often seen as being more value in insulting others than showing a little kindness. We will see much of what’s best in people over the next few days, hopefully we don’t see too much of the worst.

My view is it will be what it will be, we survived the inability to go to games through covid, we will survive missing a Saturday and move on.

Looking at the way we are playing now what’s obvious is Alexander actually signed some good players. Goss, Slattery, Tierney, Spittal, McGinn, for starters, he just refused to let them play.

What I would say is it’s brought a real feel good factor to the club, look at the response on Twitter, the supporters love the guy. That alone actually gives the whole club a lift and as much as I have reservations you can’t beat that feeling.

The main worry for me at the moment is up front, Van Veen will miss game time and we have nobody to replace him ( I will believe the Moult rumours when we see him in the stadium but not the right option anyway if true).
