On a positive note -according to the Twitter on the main website the attendance for yesterday was up 2633 up on the same game last year. But best of all 500 more paying Well fans are included in this.
Good to see us score from a corner today. Have been missing Hutchy for set pieces. Last week we had 12 corners - would have been well giving Kilmarnock 12 Goal kicks. This week only 4 corners and big hutchy scores. Bring on the Celtic.
So happy for everyone after tonights game. Have ben on a downer since saturday but hey ho thats what being a Well fans all about.Hopefully we can do the same on sat and next week against St Mirren.ps GET IT RIGHT UP YOU BROONY.
Showing my age here but Russell was my science teacher at Lanark Grammar a way back in the early 70's.He was as has been said one of the old school but was a true dosser.Had a few dealings over the years one was tickets for a raffle prize for a charity doo which he gave us .RIP Russell.
Surely we can fill the 3 stands. It will be a great atmosphere if we do.It looks as if a lot of fans are waiting till the last minute to buy their tickets. This time last week ther were only 2,000 tickets sold.
Just checked availability of tickets you can buy online.-The main stand has about a dozen seats available. The Cooper stand is about 90% sold and the East stand about 75% sold.So still a few seats available -hopefully they will go before kickoff!! Im sure Flow said The South stand will be opened for any overspill.Mon the Well
Fantastic game y/day especially the first half.Found it very hard to pick motm as many people have as everyone played great.Only down side was the crowd - I was expecting a lot more. But I suppose the recession is hitting hard.THat is the worst Hearts crowd I have ever seen.In saying that their team was utter garbage and fouled and kicked us the whole game who would want to watch that every week. With 2 weeks until the Dundee Utd game could the club not organise extra buses for a nominal price to get the punters to the game to get some backing for the team? mon the WELL.............
Ruddy has just said on the Sky website that he doesnt expect to play for Everton again as they have signed Jan Mucha. He is now fourth in the pecking order! Maybe if Reynolds is sold we could use the money to make Ruddy's move Permanent? I would be up for that as we have Hutchison and Saunders to step in as they both proved themselves earlier on in the season.
