  1. Petravicius should have been nowhere near our club. The fact he was continually given game time doesn't mean we should lower our expectations and accept journeymen who failed at our rivals.

  2. I think i'm also missing the creative midfielder we have got of, we still have tanner to return and Bigirimana who likes to get the ball down and play, we also have David Turnbull who can do the same, cadden as well i'm sure many see him as more as someone to sit behind strikers and feed passes. with regards to recruits that's exactly why the Spanish boy was signed, to dictate play from slightly deeper. Allan Campbell also played more advanced with Scotland during the summer which is an option if we require it. So the lack of creativity chat is a load of nonsense, our system doesn't allow us to play with wingers however when we have to change up and go more attacking we have the option of using Cadden and Frear in the wide roles. so long story short, we have creativity but it's about how we use it. With regards to the signing of Connor Sammon, it's a bit meh however it seems as though some folk would have preferred some unknown from the lower leagues in england, at the very least we have someone who knows the league and has to an extent been there done that in Scotland which can't be a bad thing, If it was a flare player you were after, Nadir Ciftci was your man but for most he was to hit and miss, which is unfortunately part and parcel of having these type of players at our level, ainsworth for example. The club couldn't win on this occasion.

  3. I know it's frustrating when new websites don't work, but I'd encourage anyone that has problems to first of all report it to the club, and secondly have a wee bit of patience. All the testing in the world doesn't prevent unexpected issues from popping up after you go live - and our club doesn't have the resource to spend on "all the testing in the world".

  4. Yes! A boo boy for folk! Scored 10 goals last season. So if we can get things to click could be a useful addition. More than willing to give him a chance...hopefully others will too. It's also a loan so it's not a long term risk nor I'd imagine a hugely pricey one.

  9. FFS give him a chance to at least play in claret & amber before hounding him. I seem to recall similar reaction to the signings of Sutton and Higdon - and they both turned out utter pish, eh? Main, Bowman and Johnson aren't exactly "slow" so not buying the "he's the exact same type of player". Something different, another bit of competition to keep players on toes and a guy that knows the league and has scored goals in the league. Our style of play was never going to change from last year given the success we had, so he fits our system. He is also on loan, possibly with a break clause in January, so no real risk other than the % we are paying toward his wage. An inspiring singing? Definately not. But some of the doom merchants are an absolute red neck!

  10. Had almost exactly the same record as Bowman last term in the league Bowman 23+9 (7) Sammon 21+10 (7) However 3 of Sammon's goals came from the penalty spot. On the other hand Bowman has never been capped by Giovanni Trapattoni.
