The Daily Rancid, reporting that a bid for Miller is imminent, according to his Dad
Miller bid expected within weeks, says father - https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cn7d85j76dko
I'm not going to read the article, so which is it: "imminent", or—and this is very much the opposite of imminent—"within weeks"?

Have they just used our script badge with the M turned upside down? Lazy gits...

I had no idea we were playing this afternoon? Is this a behind closed doors thing?
Yes.

Probably look a lot better with Bradford's collar, still feel the sky blue is too light though
Looks like exactly the sort of collar that half the folk on here profess to hate every year for being “too fussy”, “widnae lie flat”, etc….

Watching Ross Tierney playing for Bohs against St Pat's on the telly here. He hasn't changed.... a couple of good tackles, a couple of bad ones, set up a couple of good chances, and failed to get his shot away every time he had one himself.

Nice to hear that instead of Wimmer's "shoots" we now have Askou's "ball wins".

Jordan is not involved in the conflicts in the Middle East, probably one of the safer places to live, so good luck to him, hope he enjoys his time there.
Safe it may be, but still fairly abusey on the human rights front. Not somewhere I'd be delighted for any of my friends or family to be earning a living, but to each their own.

Someone out of the box and not indoctrinated in the SPL way of thinking.
Hopefully, although he did also spend 3 years working for Aberdeen and St Mirren, and his last job was being assistant to someone who played for Celtic for 7 years.

Alex McLeish
Certainly born in Glasgow, but don't think he had any OF connection until after he left us?

Presumably we thought he was the best candidate when we gave him the job, so it's not really that hard to believe he was also the best candidate for a team with a similar budget and aspirations in the same league.

I've been involved online with MFC since early 96, the mailing list, then the yahoo group, chat room and here.
It may have been down to who was online at the time but debates were sensible for the most part since it was mostly real names and probably the lack of teenage presence etc.Eternal September just took a little longer to reach the world wide web.

Times the flights to texas or brisbane? 🤣🤣
Not that I would ever do it of course, but apparently any decent VPN will circumvent the geographical restriction on MFC TV. (But you would need to have signed up for an international subscription, too.)

Correct, far more concerned with the expense paid trips abroad, Uefa and Fifa committee posts and their own SFA posts etc than getting a proper development structure in place to actually improve the national team.
Which is daft, because they'd get even more of those if they actually improved the national team.

I have been saying it for a while, but international football is in serious trouble.
Well, some of it is. The Spain v Netherlands game tonight was a belter.

One of the very few times when "we've never had a better chance to beat Rangers, worst team they've had in years", and then actually did. Pleasing.

Might have missed it in all the excitement, but hadn't noticed anyone posting this - Derek Rae (who covers German football for ESPN) gave a quick interview on Radio Scotland today about the appointment. Starts at 1h 19m 30s here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m00282w8

Should the title of the thread be updated to "Our new manager who do we want and when do we want him ?" Longest search ever.
Hardly... our average for recent appointments is 16 days, McCall took 20, Barraclough took 41.

I see the club have come out and stated they are aware of racial abuse towards one of our players on social media!!!
I cannot believe in 2025 this is still a thing.
Can't you? Sadly it's not remotely unusual, and is far more prevalent now than it was before, say, 2016-ish, especially on social media platforms owned by those with views that might be considered a tad fashy.

The Well Society have been virtually silent. Their comms was great during Barmack, and in general since, but apart from one vague statement there has been nothing.
Will certainly be interesting to hear how "we will have a presence of Well Society board members at the foot of the steps to the Cooper suite from about 2pm tomorrow for anyone who would like to raise any points" went.
