apoligies for jumping the gun but whats the point in HOTD-ing it if it may have to be bumped in a few week

Since it seems Murphy could be off soon, just wondering how the majority on this forum will remember him.
Maybe legend is a bit too far fetched but he has done well to gain 180 something appearances for us being only 22. He's appeared in 3 (hopefully 4) of our European campaigns and has scored the most European goals in our history, plus our first hat trick in europe.
Personally i'll remember him as another decent player that has came through our youth system. Either way hopefully he does well for himself out there.

just beat panathinikos 8-1 in fifa 12. Ojamma and Higdon both with hatricks and Las and Murphy gettin the others, surely a sign of things to come?

Enjoyable game so far. Higgy shot just hit the post. Reasonably open and Ramsdan looking solid albeit against 1st div team..
Then again he wasn't against a 2nd division team

Are you coming accross for the game ?
I'm afraid coming over in March means i have no money to do so
-
i predict a mid table finish and at least 1 semi final. I also think we'll win the first game in one of our European ties (this round or next round) to get our hopes up then bottle it in the 2nd game cos we're Motherwell.
Mon the 'well

so reading this i'll be working when the baws are actually picked as i work 2-6 scotland time

When we pump fenerbahce 4-0 at FirPark, youll all be regretting winging abouthateley playing midfield.
Aye but then they'll start moaning about tht big bastard Higdon not scoring one of the 4 goals, always something to complain about on here
-
We'd be mid Championship easily (well, the squad we had last year would be), Celtic would absolutely destroy League 1, most likely the Championship too and Dazzer hasn't a clue!
decent summary IMO

Ive got my 'champs league tour top on in vegas today, the wife wasnt impressed when i donned it this morning, but she pissed herself when she saw the bitter look a dude wearing a rangers top shot me!

I hope to do the same kind of thing in Phoenix in a fortnight

To be honset, he is at Portland timbers now and is on fire I believe. Although you could argue against the MLS in standard, a lot of their players would tear up the SPL. Boyd being one. He sat on the bench at middlesbrough.
Jenno, will be a good player in the championship. He'll adapt to the different style of play quite nicely. The fact that it's league 1 coventry he's going to, makes it all the better for him.
As for the bits about jenno's contract, I saw on twitter that Jennings didn't know the club had withdrawn. I think it may have been from his own account as well, I seem to recall him saying he wanted to stay...
because their teams can afford the likes of Beckham, Henry, nesta, etc

Game off again.
can they no just play it at the 'ark?
-
... I reckon Nine teams he would have a chance of being first choice, teams Highlighted in my opinion would have better players available than Jennoe.

I know easily 6 or 7 pompey fans over here than admit Motherwell would trounce them these days

 faddy, i wish
has it been confirmed or not if faddy is indeed playing for us against Everton?

maplewell - My apologies. It is the Scottish Cup Semi Final from 2003 that has Dunfermline or Rangers v Motherwell on the ticket. I knew I'd seen it somewhere!
Ah makes sence now
-
This thread is madness.
Obviously the club want to sell as many tickets as possible just now because:
a) If we're at home first, you've got a few girls in the office working behind a six foot long desk trying to serve us all, then everyone would be on here complaining about the queue. And you'd have ST holders and 'Well Society members grumbling that they didn't get preferential treatment.
b) If we're away first and the tickets didn't go on sale until after the draw, some 'floating voters' would wait until after the first game before deciding whether or not to buy. Losing 8-0 in Kiev would put a fair old dent in the coffers.
On the subject of the physical ticket not having the name of the opponent on it:
a) I remember no such grumblings about the CIS Cup Final in 2005 where, if I'm not mistaken, the opponent is listed as 'Dunfermline or Rangers'.
b) Buy a programme.
Maybe it's just me, but given that we were in administration not so long ago and we're only a small club from a town consumed with recession and in the shadow of the Old Firm, I would walk to the surface of the moon at any cost to watch Motherwell play in the Champions League even if I didn't know the opposition until I got there. Stop bloody moaning and count your blessings. Years from now, this period will be known as 'the good old days' and we should all enjoy them while they last.
mine says Rangers vs Motherwell
but other than that, well said
