I see George Long (2015 play-off keeper) has just moved from Norwich to Southampton on loan. I thought he was down in the lower reaches these days. Good to hear and will done him!
This is the signage at Asda Stenhousemuir car park. I was trying to find the rules about the time allowed if shopping, but couldn't see anything other than the car park is for shoppers. Given the likely amount of shoppers on a Saturday, there aren't likely to be loads of spaces, but there will be some. As I mentioned earlier, it's only a 5 minute walk to the ground.
There's on-street parking near the ground. Also a large Asda supermarket five minutes walk away, but there might be time restrictions or an online / phone payment option. If I'm down that way before Friday, I'll check and post. On the Station Hotel side of Larbert station (about 20 min walk) there is a huge free car park.
Sadly McCowan's is long gone. Site now has a Tim Hortons and B&M store. As close to a Motherwell home game as I''ll ever get.
Those travelling by train, the bar at the Station Hotel in Larbert is decent and they have a beer garden. There is a tiny wee bar in the main stand at the ground, but it really is tiny! Closest pub is the Talk of the Toon, a four minute walk away.
Interesting that there is more-or less a full line up out of the top 11......

I know...slow work day...
I take him with a pinch of salt. He's the master of setting a stall for any agenda. Wasn't that long ago he was all over the media claiming his Dad was to stop going to matches until something was done about VAR. At least that's one member of his family who wouldn't be getting abuse at games!
I guess Frail would be the lowest cost option but reckon he'll go too. Who could be next?
Might we plunder the Championship for Scott Brown, John McGlynn or Davie Martindale?
Any other, possibly left-field, options?
With the talk of removing Kettlewell, which I am in agreement, my thoughts go to who would replace him?
