  5. Am i correct that there was a red card after the final whistle? Don't know who it was for but sure i saw the ref flash the red card in the middle of the pitch?
  6. Starting to feel like it doesn't really matter who we bring in as the strikers we have already get limited, almost zero service. Hammering long high balls constantly I'm sure is not the sort of service any striker wants. Not saying the long ball isn't a tactic to be used sometimes, but we never seem to play it to their feet. or knock it on the ground past them for them to run onto. I do think that the formation is causing a lot of our issues and also having a weak midfield. Will be interesting to see who comes in tomorrow.
  7. I see on the Dundee website it says the following: "At this time we are not permitted to show the match via PPV. We are awaiting further information from the SPFL to advise if this will be possible." Really can't see why they would be blocked n showing the game

  14. Anyone watching via Motherwell TV - picture is awful for me, quite blurry. The stream via hesgoal is much better (although no commentary on hesgoals)
  15. Reminds me of the end of Barraclough's reign. Alexanders body language for me already giving the impression of "I really dunno what to do here or how to change this" It all looks like the situation you have when a manager is coming to the end of his reign and not just in the door No real fight from the players, little shape or being able to play as a unit. Strikers that can't score that many goals and defenders that can't defend. A team creating very little. I think we are the team in the league showing the least fight and that could only result in one thing.
  16. First video on Youtube after typing in Jordan Archer doesn't fill me with much confidence https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-8oxiI0q-k
  17. Joint Response Group issue update on Kilmarnock In the past few minutes, the SPFL and SFA's Joint Response Group has released the following statement... "The Joint Response Group has received further information on the situation at Kilmarnock FC based on a meeting this morning led by NHS Ayrshire and Arran Public Health, and including representatives from the club, Scottish Government, Public Health Scotland and the Scottish FA. NHS Ayrshire & Arran Test and Protect Team carried out COVID-19 contact tracing following the six confirmed positive tests at the club. As a result, the club has been advised by the local Problem Assessment Group that the whole playing squad should self-isolate for a 14-day period. This is in order to minimise the risk of further cases in the staff group and wider local community and to support Test and Protect. The SPFL Board are meeting this afternoon to discuss the implications for Kilmarnock’s fixtures within that period and will issue a statement thereafter."
  18. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54375702 Kilmarnock's entire squad has been "advised" to self-isolate for 14 days after six players tested positive for Covid-19. The Rugby Park club are due to player Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership on Friday night. But they have been asked to stay at home following contact tracing protocol carried out by Ayrshire & Arran Test and Protect Team. The SPFL are due to discuss the fate of the fixture later today. More to follow.

  21. Any danger of the game being postponed due to the weather, or a pitch inspection? Been hammering down here in Hamilton for hours with lots of surface flooding.
  22. and from the chairman...... It is with mixed emotions that we have agreed to sell David Turnbull to Celtic FC. David leaves us for a fee nearly double our previous record transfer. David is the latest in a long line of players who have developed with us. Marvin Johnson, Ben Heneghan, Louis Moult, Cédric Kipré and James Scott are recent success stories in what we set out to achieve. We provide talented players with a platform to showcase and enhance their abilities. Our continued success in that area is huge testament to our manager Stephen Robinson, his coaching staff, our academy staff and our scouting and recruitment department. In this particular case, significant tribute must also be paid to David Henderson, our head physiotherapist, for his outstanding dedication to David’s physical and mental rehabilitation over the last 12 months. As chairman, I am delighted with this clear vindication of our strategy. For the health and prosperity of our fan-owned club, we must continue on this path. As a fan, I also feel the loss of such talented individuals who contribute to our success on the pitch. Everyone at the club does, particularly our manager. Stephen has performed phenomenally across his almost four years in charge. The money we receive for David will allow us in part to build up the strategic reserve, which helps secure and sustain us through such difficult and uncertain times. But this is also an opportunity to invest in the infrastructure, for example our training ground, academy and other facilities, with a view to providing an even-better environment for player development. We wish David every success for the future. He is a local boy who has supported this club all of his life and has given us many memorable moments on the pitch. His agreement to extend his contract is a testament to his integrity and in doing so he secured the club’s interests as well as his own. As I’ve said above, as a fan, I regret to see him leave Fir Park. But the club can take pride knowing we have played a part in help develop this exceptionally talented footballer and young man, whose legacy will endure for many years. Jim McMahon Chairman
