Don't want Coyle after the input from Blackburn fans. Definitely don't want Hughes either. Think I want Robinson or Valakari. I was a fan of the idea of Barraclough, a young enthusiastic manager with ambition and modern ideas. Valakari fits that I guess.

I went to watch Brentford vs Rotherham last weekend and the quality of football from a mid table and a bottom Championship side was absolutely class. There was a guy, Woods, for Brentford who was pinging inch perfect Willy World Cup balls every few seconds. More importantly, every one of them was built like a tank, proper athletes.

Narrow defeat with an encouraging performance. 4-0 to them!

Just watched the highlights. Quality ball in from Frear for the 2nd goal. Also the celebrations for both goals, the final whistle, and the reaction to the penalty put to bed any uncertainties about the players' care for the cause. Can't make out if it was a pen or not from the highlights. Love Boyd's celebration too, always a player I've liked, not sure why.

Thought it was Frear that gave it away? The mixlr guys were saying it was never a pen. Having said that I think Frear could've dropkicked the guy and they'd have said the same...
