  1. Paton is an okay midfielder without really specialising in anything. He doesn't do the dirty dogged midfield work, he doesn't play defence splitting passes, he doesn't carry the ball particularly well, and his finishing is poor. He's missed some chances in the past month or two that Spittal would devour.

He's decent and tidy and links the play, but that's about it.

Quite agree that people have the right to voice their concerns but no way has it been constructive from some people. Wait till you get messages telling you that you aren't welcome on here - and for the record. I've spoken to a couple of people in private that I've not agreed with - but I've never tried to chase anyone off of here.

Their opinion is as valid as mine. I just can't be arsed with the negativity

If you're receiving DMs from people saying that to you I strongly encourage you to post them so as to publicly name and shame them.

I'm sure the we hate Kettlewell crew will be on here soon to enlighten you. Watch this space !

People are entitled to voice their concerns over what they feel to be inadequate management. The overwhelming majority of it is done constructively.

He wasn't convinced with Gent and davor either, how has that turned out.

But they weren't READY for first team football... and he only put them in when they were ready, it was actually really really good man management by Kettlewell.

Or some other shite like that.

Losing this has to be sacking material surely.

He'll be here until the end of the season. If we can go as long as we did without a league win and be papped out of the cup to lower league opposition the way we did then losing a 3 goal lead is nothing.

He should have been gone a long long time ago. The fact he's still here means he's not going anywhere.

Well I got rinsed on here for suggesting that Kelly was one of our highest paid players.

You got deservedly rinsed for posting a completely fictional list of player wages that gave some ridiculous numbers (if I recall correctly our backup keeper was our third highest paid player or something) and insisting over and over again it was factual.

  7. Completely agree with some of the above posts. I just turned 34 and whilst I don’t go to any games I support my team just as much from afar. I spent a few months in California there and I was up at 7am every week to watch us get absolutely scudded and put in awful performance after awful performance. These days it feels much more like a chore and something I do out of necessity rather than enjoyment.

I don’t think it’s an age thing. I think the mediocrity and staleness of it all is just getting to people, and as someone above said it looks like it’s going to be that way for the next while.

Oh well, Aberdeen Hearts and Celtic up next.

  8. A bitterly disappointing night after the momentum of pumping Ross County. We all thought that it would be the turning point in our season but tonight is a big wake up call. We're still in a relegation battle and as another poster said if we finish in the playoff spot, do we have what it takes to beat teams like Morton with our top flight survival on the line?

Three very tough fixtures coming up before a trip to Livi. Any points from those 3 games will be a big big bonus.
