  1. For some reason, that made me laugh out loud
  2. I don't even have a wife, but if I did, I would gladly let Mark Reynolds pump her! GET IN!!
  3. This is the biggest game of the season yet! Getting quite excited already...
  4. Gary Caldwell is twice the player Mark Renyolds is. There's a reason Caldwell's plying his trade against Wayne Rooney and Fernando Torres and Mark Reynolds isn't.
  5. Oops, I thought you meant "I think I have" as in "I think I have called Reynolds pish", misinterpreted. FWIW, I think Reynolds is nae bad.
  6. In a nutshell! As for Welldel & Fatcalf, touché.
  7. This could swing either way. I think with the home advantage and the fact that our key players were rested midweek should see us good for at least a point. I can see Hearts scoring, but I can't see us scoring two goals. One each.
  8. away you go! Nobody's said Hammell is pish, just that some people don't rate him, or that there might be somebody out there better than him. That is allowed, you know. And like two people have said that they think Reynolds is overrated, yet still a solid player. I don't think I've ever seen anyone call him pish...
  9. My mate told me it's in the papers today Newcastle are interested now too? Could be a bidding war going on behind the scenes!
  10. Saturday is make or break. A defeat wouldn't be the end of the world, but it would seriously affect our chances of a top 5 finish. Hearts would be 4 away from us with a game in hand (I think). I would probably take a draw right now, but there's no reason why we can't aim for three points. What with Murphy, the Juke, O'Brien and Lasley all ready to go after a midweek rest I think we'll be more than ready for this game. As well as this, we've got a free weekend the following weekend, so a defeat could play on the players' minds for the next 2 weeks, whereas a win would have us buzzing until our next game. Either way, Saturday is HUGE. Mon the 'Well.
  11. The more I think about it, the more I think we won't concede. I also believe we'll score, but don't have it in us to score 2 goals. 1-0 is my prediction! Sutton to score.
  12. Best defence in the UK? Best defensive record maybe
  13. How do you know they haven't? How does anyone know the club doesn't always do their absolute best out of squeeze every fucking penny out of every single club we've ever sold a player for? A lot of our fans have unrealistic values of our players, and when players are sold for less than what we think they're worth then we assume that the club have "jumped at the first offer".
  14. Nah mate, wouldn't want to steal your thunder...
  15. Agreed YE, there were folk on here after that game saying that we had fuck all to play for and that they wouldn't be back at FP this season. What a turnaround!
  16. Agreed we never really go over the million mark, but things like £600,000 for Clarkson, £650,000 for McDonald, £400,000 for Porter etc are all serious amounts of money when it come to MFC. Hell, we even got £150,000 for Richie fucking Foran! (IN MY OPINION) £500,000 for Reynolds is not too bad a bit of business. Obviously I hope the club do what (I'm sure) they always do and hold out for the best possible price and not accept the first bid (which we allegdly do all the time I read on here). You have to consider as well, Reynolds is a centre half, which is a slightly less glamorous position. I don't agree with it in the slightest, but clubs will pay more for a centre forward or a winger or attacking midfielder than a defensive player. You don't often hear of a defender leaving the SPL for big bucks. Shite, but it's the way it goes. As I say, £500k plus a few decent sell on clauses and I'd be quite pleased considering the circumstances.
  17. I know there's a long long way to go in the season, but I've seen the topic of European football in 2010/11 crop up in a couple of threads, thought I'd start a thread on it. I know a lot of people like to take it a game at a time, but I'm getting right excited at the prospect at another jaunt across Europe. As I say, there is a long long way to go, but just now we must be looking good. If I'm not mistaken it's 1st and 2nd into the CL (I heard the other day that that might be changing to 1 in the CL, is this right?), 3rd and 4th into the Europa League and either the cup winner/finalist/5th place into the Europa as well, depending on the positioning of the finalists. As Dundee Utd, Celtic, Hibs & Rangers (I think, although I could be wrong about them 4) are all in the Scottish Cup at the moment, it looks very likely that a top 5 finish would see us qualify for European football again. Rangers and Celtic are looking likely to take the Champions League places. We're 4 points behind Dundee Utd in 4th, 3 behind Hibs in 5th and 7 above Hearts in 6th. What with us playing Hearts at home in 5 days time and the form we're in, I think a win and we could seriously have one hand on the prize. What with Hearts to play us away from home, the league leaders and with an Edinburgh derby pre-split, we must be in with a right good chance of securing a top 5 spot very soon. Thoughts? And can a mod fix the typo in the title please.
  18. Is it something to do with squad numbers? Fuck sake, no wonder Stevie Hammell's always been number 3!
  19. That's pretty pish to be honest. I'd be expecting a minimum of about 27% every week.
  20. Think it's the SLC Final in a week or two and we're due to play St Mirren that day? As for the result, I have no idea. This time last week I was convinced we wouldn't beat St Johnstone, but came round as the week progressed. It's strange because I have a feeling we'll get beat tomorrow. But at the same time I think there's a very good chance we won't concede. And a great chance we'll score. Which means I'm predicting a win! 1-0 to Motherwell
  21. Seven points behind Celtic in 2nd place with them to play twice....
