It is astounding that we have been as shite as we have lately and are STILL ONLY ONE POINT OFF OF FOURTH PLACE. Can we just win a fucking game and be 4th please? Please?!
-
Brutal brutal stuff.
-
Van Veen could have put that on a plate for Efford there.
-
Dundee are mince, we are starting to find pockets in between their defence and midfield. We absolutely must kick on and win this.
-
I don't think we've been that bad!
-
O'Hara with a brilliant tackle but should have gone right to Woolery, who has to give him a shout. SOD has been very good since his early mistake, it would have been easy for him to crumble.
-
GI JOE! Excellent from KVV.
-
1-0 down inside 7 minutes and we can't get out of our own half!
-
Get yourself to utter fuck O'Donnell.
-
Lamie in at LB and Carroll on the bench, Alexander is (rightfully) ruthless. That midfield three I'd swap them for the three on the bench in Shaw, Cornelius & Slattery.
-
You keep saying that O'Donnell would have been shot, hung, drawn, quartered etc and it's just not true. Nobody would begrudge any player that scored that own goal vs Rangers, it's literally bounced off of Mugabi as he's challenged for the ball. If that was O'Donnell the same mooted reaction would have happened.
-
Shaw is better IMO. Donnelly has returned to form in the last few games, but I feel like he's not our best option there, and I'm tired of Alexander not playing our best players.
-
O'Donnell's display last night was indefensible, he absolutely deserves to be dropped. So does Carroll before anyone points that out to me. Kelly Mugabi Ojala Lamie Re-sign Stevie Hammell Slattery Shaw Goss Woolery KVV Efford Time for Alexander to stop fucking about, he's risking our season. Shields, O'Donnell & Donnelly are not our best options. Time to play our strongest XI. Anything less than a win and our league campaign is basically finished.
-
Two points I wanna make. Firstly, right at the death one of the RC defenders was all over Efford in the box. The difference was that he didn't go down and the RC boy did. Secondly, what the actual fuck is going on with Slattery? Somebody must know why he can't get a game. He's far better than all 3 that started last night.
-
It’s a myth we are skint, we’ve got about 8 centre mids, 5 centre halves and 6 players that can play across the front three. We have also paid fees for Slattery and at least one other player, Ojala was it?
-
I think that had to be the worst performance from a set of full backs I've ever seen. O'Donnell couldn't find a man all night, several times completely miscontrolled the ball and Carroll on the other side wasn't even close to better. Lamie was the only one with pass marks but even still his distribution is trash. Mind the time we played Hearts and they just let Hartley & Dunne have the ball coz they knew it'd be punted to nobody in particular every time? It was virtually the same thing tonight. Woolery's best attribute is isolating defenders and absolutely roasting them. He's also put in a few brilliant crosses lately, so let's utilise that part of his game. Leave him RIGHT on the touchline, stretch the opposition, switch the ball to him (to his feet, not his fuckin head) and unleash him. Instead he drifts inside and picks up the ball surrounded. Keep him right on the touchline please. We're not being helped by a manager who makes changes just for the sake of it by the looks of things. Tierney, Efford, Woolery, Shield & KVV have all started the last 2 games across the front 3. A bit of consistency is surely required. Woolery & KVV are nailed on to start, we've got to stick with one of Efford or Roberts for that left berth and get some consistency in the team. Same goes for midfield, with Cornelius, Shaw, Slattery & Goss. The gaffer fancies O'Hara and Donnelly, so it's one of those 4 fighting for the last spot. Pick one and play that three regularly. It's so frustrating, the quality from 4th to 10th is absolutely garbage. It would be so easy for us to pull away if we could just string a few results together, but we can barely string a few passes together never mind results just now. After being 4th for so long the inevitable 9th placed finish is going to be hard to take.
-
10th place is looming. An unbelievable lack of creativity.
-
20 minutes to go and we pull everyone back to defend a corner. This has been disastrous tonight.
-
Both us and County are absolutely shocking.
-
Shields misses from 6 yards. It came at him late but he's got to score there. Woolery is running the show tonight.

Know what's mental? Despite how utterly, utterly shite we have been this calendar year as it stands we are one point off of 4th. If we could just put a run of a few wins together we'd coast to European football. If ONLY we had a run of decent fixtures to do just that...
-
O'Donnell, Lamie & Sondre between them have absolutely no distribution. It's Peter Hartley & Charles Dunne-esque. Edit - O'Donnell is having an absolute stinker. Get Mugabi on pronto.
-
"He gave the ref a decision to make" is utter nonsense. He's entitled to challenge for the ball!
-
Regardless it's a poor poor start from us. Woolery's best attribute is driving at pace at defenders, not having Ricki Lamie launch balls at him head height with no Motherwell player within 20 yards.
