  1. It's good to see that bullying is alive and kicking at MFC. Why do we all ways need a PTB. Was at firhill and there were others more culpable that Ainsworth. Never been a McGhee fan but he is more culpable than any of the players. High balls to skippy high balls not going behind defenders. I some times think tic tacs would give the players better instructions.
  2. Is he not with the Scotland rugby squad at the World Cup ?
  3. If that's the case I apologise. Keep following the Well
  4. I asked for reasons to renew season ticket because I can't attend every home game. I will be at the majority of our games next season no matter which division we are in. So don't preach about moral high ground. I will be in the east stand next week and the 31st and the majority of every season until I'm sooking food through a straw no matter what league. I still remember when half the team were part time.
  5. I thought our talented players looked scared shitless at times today same as the other away games when we take a great support. It show to me at least just how confidence can drain out of players when fear of losing takes over. I just hope the coaching staff can help them overcome that in the playoff but I can't see it. Will be behind the team for the last three games of season no matter what. If we are to suffer relegation then renewing season ticket may not happen because I'm not able to attend all home games. The current players and management don't appear to turn up for all our games so why would I pay for the games I don't go to. Anyone able to put up any good reasons for renewing season ticket irrespective of which league we are in
  6. Why are we so bad?IMHO most of the current problems are due to burnout. For the last couple of seasons we worked wonders with one on the smallest squads in senior football. Players were regularly playing with knocks, qualifying for Europe became the norm expected even. This eventually has caught up mostly with the midfielders even Lasley looks worn out.Because of the changes to qualifying introduced by UEFA, even some of Europe’s famous clubs were having to qualify earlier, this included Inter Milan, Villarreal, Celtic, Leiga Warsaw, Aberdeen to name a few. All had to qualify at early stages this has had a negative effect on some of these clubs early league form – in our case it's still happening.Inter Milan were in the bottom half of the league for most of the army stages, Celtic, Aberdeen, St Johnstone and ourselves all had poor form and long queues for the treatment tables. In previous seasons we had to replace at least half our team at the end of the previous season, this season we didn't but still restrained a very small squad. When the players started to pick up more knocks after the very short break between season starts (body's did not have enough time to recover) these minor injuries have become long term because the players affected most are the ones who have played with little recovery time between seasons for the last couple of seasons. Given the short time between seasons I'm not surprised that we are not fit enough. As is typical in the SPL(SPFL Premier league) if you have a poor start your in trouble. We have spent all of this Eason without a fully fit squad few midfielders have been available. Hamill,ZFA, Lawson,Vigurs, Leitch,Carswell have hardly been available and when have have not always been fully fit. McManus has struggled with injuries and personal issues, Lasley looks worn out and needing rested but is still trying to do it all on his own.Reid is in his first full season as a full time player. Moore was recovering from serious knee injury.Kerr,Twardzik,Law,Erwin are stills young and need support of seniors in squad.Sutton cannot play up front on his own but is still our only goal threat when supported.Ainsworth is one of these high confidence players who when playing well and regularly will always create chances and score the odd outrageous goal or two this season he has absolutely no confidence and there is no reserve league he can gain that in.Ramsden was ok until he missed penalty in league cup tie at Hamilton (I suspect a lot of flack was pointed in his direction with in the dressing room for that) given his attitude during the league game against Hamilton was the absolute worst I have ever seen fro a professional footballer during that game and has been since. When all these things are taken into account a disaster of a season was almost inevitable. It's now time for the fans to get fully behind the players and management no matter how poor the performances. Not convinced the we have appointed the best manager but we will be relegated if we change again now, we are where we are and it will take all of us fans and players to get out of this predicament – it is still in our own hands just. We are overdue a bit of luck during a game.
  7. As someone who gaveup on watching the original 10 team league which IMHO killed all teleted youth development and lead to a league full of grafters (just like Accies on Sat). I will probalply revert to same and no longer follow football. Last time was for 17 years that being the same i would never return. A TEN team league will have the Scottish Game dying but on a par with the Welsh league.
  8. Whist all the discussions are about the performance against the buddies I'm starting to become concerned with the lack of fight in this team we are to easily bullied by more physical sides (all of the other sides should we end up in the bottom 6). The last time we were in that situation (under Malpas) we were very lucky that Doris could not catch a cold in Inverness or we would have been stuck in the lower leagues if not worse.
  9. Do we or Don't we SUPPORT MFC? If the like me the answer is yes then it is in our best interest as supporters to back the whole team and encourage them to improve. It’s sad to hear some of the comments coming from our fans aimed at both the manager and players. Fitzpatrick is a credit to this club in the way he appears to just shrug off the criticism/abuse he and others have to take just because the fans have not taken to him. Remember he got us to the league cup final when he did not missing on his mind and the abuse that would have followed. I doubt that he would score that goal again, at least as long as a minority of the so called Motherwell fans abuse him for every pass, shot or header that does not lead to a goal even then some would be reluctant to please him. Let's get behind the whole team (and management) this Saturday against Accies and prove that we are the Pride of Lanarkshire.
