It was absolutely scorchio that day. I remember at the end of 90 mins their stewards allowed us to nip out to a wee shop to buy ice poles before coming back for extra time. Fairly sure we won on penalties.

This. It was always something to look forward to after Christmas / New Year. Just cannie get used to it starting in November at all.

That's the one I want too.

There's a bit in today's Sun, but I don't have a subscription so can't read the full online article: http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/motherwell/6044732/Well-fans-given-a-month-to-find-1m-to-own-club.html?teaser=true Presumably it's just been lifted straight from here.

The Well Society 7 mins · Motherwell injury news - Steven Hammell, Keith Lasley, Iain Vigurs and Mark O'Brien all back and Stephen McManus over the knock that forced him off against Accies. But Jack Leitch, Paul Lawson (both hamstring) and Craig Reid (knee) all drop out.

Hope no-one had hospitality at the game

Genuine question. How does the referee decide at which end of the pitch a penalty shoot-out will take place? Last night the ref clearly indicated that the penalties would be taken at the end of the pitch that had no stand behind it (no coin toss or anything like that as far as I could see). I suppose you could argue this gives neither side an advantage, but surely common sense dictates that the penalties should take place where the majority of fans can actually see what is going on?

Don't see many traveling to Aberdeen on a Fri night when it's live on the TV...
