Yes, it is a very pedestrian showing from Motherwell.

He excels at nothing, but is probably not too bad at defending.

Lawless and Crawford may as well be playing in blue and white. Campbell is chasing about to no effect.

Alexander has to find a way to react to this. Surely he cannot be happy with the way the game is developing.

Lawless is having a nightmare. Loses the ball every time he touches it.

Crawford has lost the ball in that area a few times tonight. These guys need to give themselves a shake and wake up or the cup run could well end tonight.

Midfield is anonymous every week. If we can't control the midfield against a struggling championship side we really do have problems in that department.

First touch is dreadful. The ball has to stick when played in to the forwards. Cole's touch was like that of a wall.

Motherwell looking very much like a foot of the championship team rather than Morton.

10 minutes in and it has been dominated by Morton possession. Pretty much camped in Motherwell half. Very slow start from Motherwell.

I think the boy landed on him and did either Roberts knee or ankle. He looks in some real pain.

Lawless was completely ineffective in the 1st half. Maguire should adds a bit more solidity to the midfield.
