I was lucky enough to catch a Roma game whilst over there a couple of weeks ago so have taken an interest in their results since.
Apart from their excellent taste in strips and colour, is there an other connection to Motherwell FC because I noticed Andy capp on a flag the other night on the telly
(if this is common knowledge, I'll get me coat)

I wonder if any club has ever pulled out of a European tie because they can't afford to travel. As the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, I anticipate it's only a matter of time before that happens.
Good point, SFA fine you for not managing your finances, yet UEFA put you in a loss making situation

I'm going to the cooper stand with my boys but will be leckie bound first. Will any flags be on sale there or prior somewhere else or do I have to go to the club shop?
Happy to contribute to the displays instead if I can.

I like the way this is going, there's clearly a lot of people wanting to up the noise in the Cooper, maybe we just need to put our heads together and get it going.
I reckon the chances of getting the east stand boys to move are slim but am there to be proved wrong.
I wish it was the start of the season already

There's the very reason I'm disappointed with the disparity between Cooper and East offers. Cooper offers 2 free U-16 places with an adult season whilst East only offers 1 U-13. More kids want involved in the 'crazy corner' naturally, chance is there to create a space twice the size of the current area and really spread the message that Fir Park is the place to be for youngsters. How many of those currently there were attracted back by the involvement as opposed to the actual fitba' on display I wonder. I reckon the answer would sway more towards involvement despite what has been a great season on the park. If the kids enjoy their day out they will want to return, if they're forced to sit and watch from afar the enjoyment aspect is diluted. Use this resource properly and we have a real foothold for the future potentially.
Or we start a singing section in the Cooper?

Ive always been a 'well fan but I know there are others who supported either half of the OF as a youngster through their family but after being old enough to make a decision and going to a 'well game haven't looked back since.
I'm in the convert category, mainly because of my kids and I'm loving it more than them, fully converted and hoping I can juggle the finances to get my first season ticket. Cooper would cover both the kids through the wellevate, but my 7 yr old is desperate to get into the "crazy corner" as he calls it.

Wee boys bouncing in the South Stand was the highlight for me, will they come back?
That was brilliant. The "Stuart McCall's / Well Army" chant-off with the south stand kids vs east end section was class, well done to all that got involved.
Got a bit video'd, will try and post a link later.

have to say i quite like it, nice and simple like the white one from a couple of years ago
But even the white one had claret trim, including a claret puma logo. Not that I don't like this one, just that it could so easily have been a wee touch more Motherwell.

Since the Stone Roses stole most of their music and art work from other artists...

They are giving free tickets to kids for the South Stand via schools, BB's, MFC community teams etc.
I believe they are also giving tickets so that adults can supervise.
(I assume county fans will be in end of POD stand?)
Once again, proving they are a family and community club. Well done MFC

4 pronged death machine attack force.
Forget your diamond, box or flat formation, future coaches will talk of the 4PDMAF

was that pic taken at the shop?
Possible clue to away kit colours?

Faddy poked the ball forward with his challenge, not the Celtic player. Ref saw it and correctly told linesman to put flag down.
Thanks

Did any of the TV explain the flag up / flag down thing in the first half ? Left us baffled

So, no Motherwell links then?
