David Clarkson is a fantastic player and is still only 23 (24 in September) so there is still more improvement in him. A couple of years ago the fans seemed to h8 him amd wanted rid of him (exc. myself ) but when McGhee came his game transformed. I still remember his debut for Scotland - what a GOAL!!! On the negative side he can be very frustrating at times especially with his first touch and he goes down far too easily ( my pet hate only time I boo my own players). I think someome mentioned another 3 years and he will have his testimonial for motherwell, that says it all he may even be the youngest player ever to achieve such a feat if he does stay. My heart wants him to stay, however, if we receive a bid for 1 million quid and the money can go straight to strengthening the squad (being hypothetical here ) then we would be daft to turn it down.

The thing you fail to realise here is , if Chisolm or Gannon get the job and do well and get offered a 'bigger job' (Championship, EPL, Scum Firm etc) then they will leave as well after 2 years. Do you really think there gonna stay? If your looking for someone who will stay at the club no matter what I'm your man!!!!

Im am stealing this info from another forum but did he not sign the following players: David Healy, Paul Konchesky, Diomansy Kamara, Hamed Bouazza, Danny Murphy, Dejan Stankovic, Kasey Keller, Aaron Hughes, and Steven Davis. I think on a whole all of them have been decent signings. SI don't watch a lot of Fulham but the boy Konchesky looks really good. You beat me to it

That question has been answered loads of times. Why not Nijholt thats what I say. Why not take Nijholt over McCallister or any other name mentioned. With the exception of Neil Lennon and maybe another one or two i suspect whoever the manager is we will forget all the disagreement and be united in giving 100% backing to the manager because it will be the only way forward!!!

I understand your point but Kilmarnock aren't anywhere near the worst team in the league. When Butcher finished bottom with us we clearly were the worst team. However, i Think we beat the entire top six that year and nobody in the bottom. That summed us up. And Mowbray was 3rd choice for Celtic and if I were a Celtic fan(thank god am no tho) a would be less than delighted by Mowbray's appointment. Mind you they want a guy that will draw 3-3 every week than a man that will win 1-0 every week.

I remember watchin that gem!!!! And if ma memory serves me right the well fans gave tha nancy boys a humpin. I also remember after the game seein a boy holdin up a Nancy strip and me half cut takin my brand new Motherwell home jersy aff and swappin him. When i got to the pub a realised a had been robbed. The top was not only horrible but was ancient that was only highlighted by the bobbles. However it did smell of Jean Paul Gaultier ma favourite aftershave. The round of applause given to us by the Nancy supporters at the end was humbling and one of my proudest moments as a Well fan.
