  1. Aye difference is McGarry doesnt score goals and generally was p1sh. however as we have seen albeit against Alloa he did get 2 and played well against Rangers, no way was that a penalty.
  2. Naw - I would like to see how things progress under Craig and his team. But my prefered choice would be Jimmy Calderwood. He is used to working with nae money.
  3. nuno gomes - Your havin a laugh surely he'll no come to dreech Motherwell. Couldnt afford to pay him a months wages.
  4. Bout time, McGarrys one of the worst players ive seen put on a Motherwell Shirt. Take Craigan with you. Right enough Austrailia - decent better than playing for Alloa lol
  5. tough game for us but i firmly beleive we will bounce back, based on coments and reports on the Hearts game we are now focussed and getting into our stride again and will beat hamiltion. I'll be there cheering on the lads. think it will be 2 v 1 to the well.
  6. to be top 6 by the end of the year personally is a good stat, unfortunately we have drew too many games and blown leads - St, J at home. He brought in players who are of good quality, Coke, Jennings, Ruddy and Humphrey and Hately and Juke. 6 top quality players. signed youth on contracts and used them. Whatever has been going on behind the scenes and some of his comments have been dissapointing BUT all in all he has done well. As for the new appointment, Craig Brown, im so chuffed.
  7. ano, he was only good at picking the ball out of the net.
  8. And Everton will battle it out with Tottenham for Watford's England Under-21 goalkeeper Scott Loach. (Daily Star) from BBC site Ruddy may not be needed at Everton.
  9. Get him signed! best keeper in SPL, right enough Everton bought him for £250 a number of years ago so yes a bargain if we get him. Me thinks Boyle needs to put his hand in his pocket and "invest" in Ruddy.

    Jim O'Brien

Has anyone asked JOB what he wants? Lots of speculation but nothin from JOB or the club. He may resign. May not, if he doesnt i dont think Aberdeen is a step up. League 1 or Champrionship should be his asperations. Personally i think he will be off to Middelsburgh.
  11. Have to agree with everything youve posted mate, Gannan gets my backing too.
  12. I played 5's last week in the cold/fog and i considermyself to be fit and yeah i was struggling to breath. there could be a number of issues but playing 20 games so far in a season will tire anyone out.
  13. great player for us, scorec loads of goals and an absolute gentlemen, will applaud him when he comes back to Fir Park but he isney allowed to score against us LOL
  14. I would be delighted to get Ruddy signed up for the rest of the season. If there was any possibility to sign him i'd love it but doesnt look to happen. Im sure Ruddy will be knocking on the door at Everton soon and asking what future he has with them first then he may look to us or elsewhere? He has been our best player so far this season and has been an absolute pleasure to watch him.

    Celtic

A Well deserved Ruddy gets my vote, certainly kept us in the game. I was very impressed allround with the team effort and some players such as Hately, Murphy, Jutkewicz. Only criticism is with the Manager, the second half was unbeleiveble, the team needed fresh legs, experience to earn a draw. There was no emphasis to go on and win just defend and stand off which yes cost us a point at least. Difference is Celtic can afford to keep a £4million striker on the bench and he gets 10 mins and scores after 56 seconds. All credit it was a beauty strike but i think celtic must feel very lucky to beat a team of under 21 players.
  16. Unfortunately we will loose this one. Celic have came onto form while we havent, neverless i think we will give them a good game. Heart 2 v 1 to the well head 2 v 1 tae celic
  17. Ive always liked Foran as a player, thats just me. Unfortunately he brings baggage of long nights drinking Mega bar esk with others in the team. Unless he is over this party time attitude i wouldnt want him back as would have a bad influence on the "younger" players.
  18. Not particularly but i like to discuss topics rather than all the slagging that goes on here.

    What If?

Lads, this post was ment to be a discussion and yet again has ended in a slagging match on how good or bad Forbes is. Lets try and stick to a general discussion.
  20. Can you read my post again. Bleeding youth yes a 20 year old Still need experience AKA Sutton How did you miss that.

    Well Flags

Good topic. If the club sees the supporters taking flags they should hang them at the back of the stands so all can see??
  22. The ins and outs thred has gotten to big, as everyone comments, sometimes you need new topics to freshen up the site and if someone wants to talk about an individual its lost in the ins and outs. Yes another Negative person.

    What If?

How much will Forbes get in a few years? Dont know. We are a selling club? YES The only real money we have made was McFadden. We keep players till the end of their contracts and lose them for nothing i.e. McCormack or they go on the cheap Clarkson, Quinn, Porter Everton arent a big spending team and have a small squad with many Youth players breaking into the team year after year. They will have an eye on Motherwell and may be looking at some of our players. Mind they bought Faddy. This topic was to generate discussion and already being negative towards it.
  24. One word "WOW" I like the idea of bleeding youth through the team but still need some experienced heads. We have struggled to score goals this season, this lad if he signs should get at least 10 for the second half of the season.

    What If?

Some of the topics on here are same old same old. So.... thought i'd try and generate a discussion instead of us all arguing and slagging each other off all the time. So If David Moyes says, we'll give you Ruddy for Forbes. What would your opinions be on the subject? Personally i'd take Ruddy. Good safe pair of hands, and recently Forbes form has been poor and hes tired.
