Bizarre subs bench really don't need 3 strikers on it. No Thomas is puzzlingly unless he has an injury.

Anyone but calderwood would be a lazy appointment. He also hasn't been successful anywhere in a while.

Easily Kennedy. Can see why ainsworth got it cos he had a few runs. But Kennedy was composed at the back and snuffed out most attacks that came his way.

02 never works in fir park for some reason fine every where else in motherwell but fir park is some sort of dark spot.

Also thought leitch helped boss the midfield as well. He is improving game by game.

Should have been more comfortable than it was but a good performance right up until the 70th minute and then as usual we started to fade. Managed to hang which is encouraging. Thought moult McDonald and Thomas should great chemistry moving the ball around the edge of te box well. New boy looks like a promising impact sub. Should have won by more but after good performances against utd and Aberdeen without getting the points, will take points at all costs.

Really poor performance. Won this basically because we were fitter and had more depth. The most worrying aspect of the performance was the lack of link up play between midfield and the strikers. This only really changed when McDonald came on. Clarkson did virtually nothing.

By no means an encouraging performance today but some of the abuse in the stands was absurd today. To old folks stopped watching the game and just screamed abuse at barra the whole match but refused to blame the players. Another person berated law the whole game(quite rightly) and then moaned about his lack of confidence!?:S. The best one though was a guy who wanted to take the loss cos he couldn't be bothered with extra time. Just mind boggling. I'm all for voicing ur complaints to the manager but at some point you have to just back the team, if ur a fan, and choose ur moments to voice your disapproval at what the manager is doing.

Na he's a good impact sub until he bulks up I see him being similar to Murphy in the fact that he's not quite a winger and not built to be a striker.

I think the biggest difference this season may be the addition of our strength and conditioning coach I know he was brought in with barraclough but a full offseason with him around the club will help immensely.
