Just to say, we ended up as runners-up in the laegue. We beat Prestatyn 5-1, but Tns beat Aberystywth 3-1. That game was 0-0 at half time, so at that point, we were still in with a shout!!! All the best to the Motherwell fans!!

So, after Thursday nights terrific win over Rhyl, Llanelli Reds are still in with a chance of winning the league today. We are away to Prestatyn, while Tns are away to Aberystwyth. If Aber beat Tns and we win, then we are CHAMPIONS!!! A draw for Tns and a big win for us could still see us as Champions. After yesterdays games, Llanelli are 8 points behind leaders Tns, with 2 games in hand. Both games are home, playing on Tuesday and Thursday night. Drew 1 all away to Aberystwyth last night. It was 2nd (us) v 3 rd (them). We went 1 nil up, but couldn't finish them off We got 6 games left, as we've had cancelled games because of the weather, waterlogged pitch, etc., but no extension to the league, so we've got to play, tues, thurs, sat, tues, thurs, sat!!! At the mo', 2 games in hand, 6 points behind, so could come down to goal dif!!!

Hi Thought you might like to read this, especially as the Scots bloody won again !!! Wales 2 Scotland 5, a game of two halves. Wales took the lead through Rhys Lewis shortly before the interval against the run of play after weathering the Scottish attack well during the first half. However after looking comfortable with 9 changes at the interval, the game was turned on three incidents 20 minutes into the second half. First Wales keeper Wayne Edwards let a long range shot slip through his grasp. Then Mark Pickering was unfortunate to concede a penalty which Scotland scored from and Pickering received his marching orders for an early bath. Wales then suffered the loss of their second keeper of the game as Edwards suffered ligament damage to his hand. Scotland then scored again, before Tim Hartley gave 10 man Wales hope with 10 minutes remaining, but Wales then tired as the Scots scored two late goals to give the scoreline an unrealstic look. On the fundraising side we are now over the £500 mark in total once I load the money raised yesterday on Just Giving. Wales will play a return game against Scotland at Hampden Park early next year.
