And she's probably one of the more intelligent ones!
Been laughing all morning IMG_20150525_081433.jpg

We need to start to prepare for relegation because clearly this group of players, and in particular our defence, are not capable of keeping us up.
-
John Boyle spent approx £8m of his own money on our club. Okay, he made some mistakes, but anyone who spends that level of cash on MFC is all right with me.
-
I must seriously be missing something in Josh Law. How he has managed to earn a start today is beyond me.

Spot on! I dont post often but cant believe what I am reading! Yeh, time for a change in direction, obviously finishing 3rd, 2nd and 2nd in three consecutive seasons under McCall is not good enough! Eh, this is Motherwell guys.. what the hell do we expect?! We have had some horrible cup results and the last 4 or 5 games have been hard work but bloody hell show the man some loyalty after what he has deliver over his time in charge. Some of you guys are in for a serious wake up call, Stuart McCall has massively over achieved as have Motherwell over his time in charge, end of! I suspect when we look back this will turn out to be one of the purple patches in our history (just a pity we have managed to lift a trophy).
Could not agree more. To suggest that it is time for a change because one of the most successful managers in our history has become stale is madness. The longer we keep Stuart McCall the better because he has delivered unprecedented success on a budget most other managers would laugh at. A change of manager would be a disaster for us, especially when I consider the likely suspects who would no doubt fancy their chances.

Good to know the players can count on your support Dewell
-
Hopefully he can make a good recovery.
Was it him that went on the speedway bike to hilarious consequences? Think it was but my memory isn't what it was.
Yes it was. Daft as a brush but what I would give to have him back in our midfield now.
-
I agree with you but someone is going to point out that losing cup games makes us skint.
I'd prefer to point out the number of midfielders we have. Why sign Lawson when Carswell had signed a new contract? Why offer Lasley two years when we have Leitch, Carswell, Vigurs, Law and Lawson, all younger options, the first two in particular needing game time to develop.
An unbalanced squad...
I totally agree that losing Cup games make us skint, however I dread to think the salaries some of these players like Vigers and McManus are on. Part of the reason we are skint is because we are paying good money to players who are not professional enough to see off a so called lesser team.

Sorry to see Faddy go. He's one of us and clearly has Motherwell at heart. His performances this season have been patchy at best and Stuart McCall has taken the tough but correct decision. Thanks for the memories Faddy, including you goal celebration at Pitoddrie.

Have to say 4-1 flatters us. Lee Hollis made several excellent saves when the score was 1-1 to keep us in the game.

I lost my Dad on hogmanay last year so my thoughts are with both him and Phil today. My Dad brought me up to be a 'Well fan and for that I will be eternally grateful.
' mon the dads.

Motherwell 2 Rangers 3, Scottish Cup semi-final 1975. Two nil up at half-time through McLaren and Pettigrew at Hampden and to lose to Rangers still haunts me nearly 40 years later
I was there that night as well. I rarely cry at football but I was in tears that night.
-
I am totally disgusted. We made it easy for them and that is completely unacceptable. No heart. No fight. Ashamed by that performance.
-
Completely disgusted by this capitulation. We don't have the heart for the fight. I am appalled and embarrassed to watch this.

Isn't it great to know that our club is being run properly with a professional and competent management team at the helm. Our long term future is secure!!

Scottish football is screwed! Higdon is banned for an innocuous gesture yet earlier this season Gary O'Connor gets away with a blatant dive even his assistand manager admitted to. The SFA are ruining the game. If this was not highlighted on Sportscene Higdons name would never have even been mentioned. As amateur a programme as you're likely to see.
Oh well, at least it will give the Higdon boo boys a day off - unless they turn on someone else!
-
A manager who actually explains his decisions in a logical way. Superb! Lets shout down the boo boys and get right behind the team!!
-
On their lap of honour after the game Colin O'Neill kissed my mum while holding the Cup! She still talks about it to this day!!

If we are not willing to match the workrate of the opposition we will be in trouble as last night proved. From the first whistle St Mirren closed us down yet when they had the ball they had time to pick a pass. They could bring the ball out of defence and find a player yet look at the amount of times Craigan had to give the ball back to Randolph because there was no pass available (not Craigans fault).
What concerns me is why we turned in this type of performance after 2 wins in a row. If we start thinking we are a good team without rolling up our sleeves and battling we have no chance.
-
Very sad to hear this terrible news. May he rest in peace.

I was not planning to go but have changed my mind because I want to vent my frustration on the two faced wee liar!

[and will not win us the league
OMG these eejits are even more delusional than I thought if they think anyone could win them the league. Maybe the first division next season but certainly not the SPL, even if they had got Craig Brown
That was probably the league they were talking about!!

Unless Blackburn wish to keep him in the shop window. Look what happened to Lucas last season - spent the entire season on loan to us where he had the chance to shine and then gets a £1m transfer to Coventry.

The club are doing fantastic business at the moment to build an excellent squad for the forthcoming season. Hopefully we play our part by turning up in decent numbers each week.
