Don't know what he was thinking saying that to a young boy never mind a Motherwell fan at that,did his parents not fork out a fortune in a auction for chance ? . Maybe he thought he was a Saints fan. Bizarre anyway. Must admit McDonald looked like a walking red card the whole game, I know he is a nippy sweetie even at that he was was perma rage.

Having seen the sending off again I think McDonald could be in bother. The way he turns to see where the player is makes it look pre meditated . Hard to judge how the appeals turn out though given it's an independent panel of 3 that decides. I think if it was 3 refs they'd all reject the appeal however.

Baraclough said he will appeal but if it fails McDonald misses the next 3 games because it's violent conduct. I didn't see if it was a clear elbow, how the ref thought McManus's tackle was only a yellow I'll never know.

Saints fan here I come in peace! Can't belive the situation you guys are in ( well ourselves too but Tommy Craig was a terrible appointment from the beginning ). Throughout the season I always thought you's had enough about you to drag yourselves up the table. You's will probably be without McDonald who was trying his best to get sent off and McManus who should have been sent off for a shocker. Will be hilarious if you's beat Rangers but in all honesty I'd rather they got promoted. It's been peaceful without the blue bigots for the last few years. The general consensus is Well are down but you guys can make a difference. Made a good noise today, stick with the team and who knows what can happen. Do your bit at least.
