I agree - i think right now he could be a good player, but needs a rest to get fitness and confidence together - i also think that we expect too much from him at times as well

Do you watch the games? Do you watch how we have let teams come on to us time & time again? THAT is why we are throwing games away - not because a kid who is a decent player is not on the park!! He aint a god - he is an ok player with decent potential - who recently is blowing out his backside after half an hour, has started to give the ball away more and quite clearly needs a rest from the game for a few weeks. Think you are rating the boy too highly, he aint that good yet and will be a few years before he gets close to going anywhere.

That had nothing to do with Forbes going off daftie! That had to do with the tactics we played - sitting in and trying to hit teams on the break and not going for the killer goal! Get away from your shrine and look at the bigger picture!

C'mon mate - the midfield has no shape when he is playing! Forbes quite clearly has issues, whether it is fitness or whether it is performance - otherwise Gannon wouldn't sub him at half time for the last 3 games. What we are seeing is the usual with young players - inconsistency! A stint on the sidelines to refresh him and to get his 2 feet back on the ground - would do him the world of good! As for going anywhere - cant see anyone taking a chance on him yet as he requires far too much work at present - nowhere near the level as the guys that have left in the past!!

If DLS had a better end product I could see the arguement for having him stay - true though that an extended run in the first team may help but for a guy that really has the ability to put the frighteners on SPL defences - he never had the killer instinct for me. Be sad to see him go - but surely for the lads point of view - regular 1st team football has to be a priority. As for Fitzy - will also have a special place with me after his ET goal aginst the Jambo's. Be dissapointed to see him go - he got a rough ride but never gave any less than 100% for the jersey, and I always thought of him possibly as a possible fullback if Hammell ever left or was injured. In all, it's part of football guys, and to be honest I am surprised that we aint seen any bodies fall away from the squad yet - as I feel the manager has had adequate time to assess the squad. Be sad to see them go - but they are young lads and just want to play 1st team football - unfortunately it's not going to be at Fir Park.

Bit harsh! Even though he didnt get a regular run out in the team I thought he showed flashes of being a good player! In time, with regular 1st team football could be a good SPL striker - which in all fairness is his level

If we are playing with wingers I guess until someone within our price range is available we need these guys to step up to the plate. Finding a good attacking / goalscoring midfielder has too be a priority for the manager....................... along with a goalkeeper, centre half and centre forward!!!

Well if he's gettin paid 2k a week to do just that then we need to question our signing policy - because he doesnt offer a goal threat or defensive option!!

With such little return for such a large wage to keep him, surely its time for him to move on? I for one with gannons record with players would rather see him given Hughes's wage to invest elsewhere! Plus i dont see where he would play in gannons system.
