I think Slattery need to loose a few pounds. His stamina and passing seems to have gone the wrong way. I’d be looking for more from him. I think Spittal and Cornelius could be interchanged so one gives it 100% then replace with the other as they start to tire. Midfield definitely needs to work harder. They seem to get caught in the middle not up supporting forwards or back helping defense. They need to up the work rate and just sub them as they tire.

or to be Grizzzly-esque. Flood the midfield and use our subs!

    Good one

Assuming the worst case scenario comes to pass, and based on recent selections, Hammy will probably still opt for one striker, most likely Shields, as Moult is most unlikely to start. Morris could well start. Hopefully though a young lad or two will get some game time depending on how things are going - even a couple of minutes would signal Hammy's commitment to youth.

Yep agree totally, whatever happened to young Spiers?

Just watched him in the game against  Hamilton tonight, he's a  big unit, good on the ball and seems to be scoring lots for Ayr, so he might be worth a punt but depends on what sort of contract he is on and given he is their main goal threat Ayr won't want to lose him so might be difficult to deal with.

Swap deal for Morris and Maguire....seemples

  4. It just sums Sellik up, even after disallowed goal you could hear fans claiming every decision.  They won the game but can't stop moaning about VAR yet not a peep about the songs that their fans sing or the Flare display before the match .....ahhhh I forgot.....it's that's special atmosphere that they bring.....aye right

  5. After disappointment of last night this might cheer you all up.  Heading back last night with my 2 mates and mates lad. Can't remember who I was talking about but I said they "weren't the brightest tool in the box"!!!, Think I got my sayings mixed up.   Reminiscent of Softie Philliben back in 1994 after Dundee utd cup tie saying it gives us "another crack at the cherry".  Heh he

  6. All our defeats have been by odd goal which doesn't make it any better but also we are not that far away.  I have been big critic but I would start shields through the middle as main striker, he ain't a winger so no point playing him there and KVV as lone striker is just not helping as hee haw work rate for him. if he's not fit then he shouldn't be starting. If things not going well bring him and Louis on for last half hour.

Let's finish up for mini break on a high  COYW

U have to feel for KVV,clearly not fit as he only lasted a half..he's up top on his own fighting a losing battle unless the midfield help with the press u can't expect him t chase down 2centre halfs n a goalkeeper even when we did get the ball over the top he couldn't out run carthorse vickers

Appreciate your view spud but I don't think fighting is a word that can be attributed to KVV, just never looks up for it and hardly breaks sweat. If injured then best not starting

  8. To play devils advocate if Penney took sensible option and threw to Lamie then it doesn't happen,, plus we scored almost straight away so was quickly back to one goal deficit. Maybe if KVV could master rounding keeper and slotting into empty net it might have been different

  9. Ah well closer than I expected but I am sick and tired with the cheap goals we are conceding, Slattery shocking for first and Penney just needs a simple throw back to Lamie.

KVV misses great chance and just spends full half jogging not in the least bit interested, just my opinion and you don't need to agree but as a lone striker he is just wasted as workrate is shocking.if he is injured then he shouldn't be starting,

We keep losing my odd goal so we aren't far away but we really need a big confidence boost on Saturday and then get Louis fit during world cup break.  COYW

If he was in charge at Fir Park, there would be massive unrest on the terraces (if there were any).  He might get results but the punters would loathe and hate his brand of football.

I must stress I wasn't suggesting him as a future manager, I am very much in the Hammell camp and prepared to give him time. I was just pointing out how Livi punch above their weight and also they can get the odd result against old firm
