My son follows him, comes across as a decent guy, great with the young boys when he visits grounds, can't see him lying, shameful

Comes across as decent guy,. Jeez didn't realise he was that near us.  I am on the video near the end,. I could have told him a few jokes.......maybe that was another reason he left early. Seriously though it's embarrassing that he had to leave early, hope it doesn't put him off coming back to Fir Park

I spoke to a few older Sligo fans who were superb but they were also genuinley asking if they'd be safe getting back to their transport due to the verbal venom that was being thrown at them from the "Well Bois"

I get that they are trying to create an atmosphere but the behaviour is getting too much now, 99.9% of fans just want to go and enjoy the football without getting abused and threatened.

Couple that with officials getting pelted with items and its not good enough, it makes us look terrible as a club and will cost us money AGAIN.

Sadly there is an element in that section that is dragging the club down, I never heard the chanting as was at opposite side of stand but this needs to be stopped asap.   However I must point out the majority bring great support and enthusiasm and not an ounce of trouble, I know this as my mates lads are in that section and are brilliant lads.  COYW

No sack after one game has yer mind gone blank about the run fae December he deserved sacked for utter pish his team team has served up and if we can’t compete with a team whose Budget ( big thing on this site) is well below ours then god knows where the club is heading

Mind totally fine and last season I was one of his biggest critics. But he isn't going to go after one game.  If we can't qualify against Sligo and have a poor start to season then he has to go. But I will stay positive and hope this time next week we are looking forward to next round

  4. For any opposition scouting us it must be a dream as you know it will be 4 3 3.  Sadly Alexander too stubborn to admit it doesn't work. I am not calling for him to go after one game of a season but by jeez he needs to sort this mess and quickly.  We need about 5 or 6 players and we need some cleared out if St Mirren can be tempted to sign them (lol).  A big problem for me is his mannerism and attitude.  I don't expect a "hey guys, how you all doing" but I do expect a realistic assessment of a match and not a constant delusional view of a match that our fans see totally differently.   Let's hope next week can see us turn this round

  5. Where to start....well first we aren't out, we have a 2nd leg to turn things round although it looks a hard ask on that showing.   I thought McGinn was good and McGuire in 1st half.

Now to the negatives starting with a manager who I am prepared to give a 2nd chance but his post match interview again sums up how much he insults the fans intelligence.  As for some players,

bevis - a cult figure but not good enough and clearly doesn't like us to do well in cup ties as last 2 he has cost us.

Carroll - never been a fan and every pass is backwards, again not good enough

Slattery - I like him but jeez he was honking tonight, 4 3 3 doesn't suit him.

Van Veen - a Messiah and can do no wrong in a lot of eyes but for me is a guy that believes his own hype and spends more time getting involved with the opposition.

Again these are just my views and everyone will have their own say but for Alexander he needs to get this sorted asap , surely even his biggest fans can see that.     COYW

By November we could be sitting 3rd in the league, looking forward to fixture congestion with league Cup semis and Europa conference league group stage matches , playing well and there would still be people moaning on here, you all know who you are.

I really would love to know what some people expect from a team like Motherwell over a season ,winning the league is never going to happen, so is it constant top 6 finishes, deep cup runs, euro qualification or be greedy and expect all 3.

As a club just beginning our 35th season I think in the top division, reasonably frequent Top 6 and Euro qualification,  runners up in the league twice with champions league entry for a club our size I think we do very well compared to other clubs of a similar size and even better than some so called bigger clubs at times, and all achieved with various managers, so let's try and talk up our achievements over the years instead of constantly whinging and slating the club.

I think a lot of the criticism of Alexander last season was justified. I was very critical at times but I would like to think it was constructive. Anyway that was last season and I am sure GA has learned a lot also from last season (apart from recognising a decent left back ) but that's just my own view.  Let's all create a great atmosphere tomorrow and get right behind the lads ...COYW

I swear Robbo has a A4 bit of paper with about 4-5 answers on it that he uses all the time.Come November-December time he will wheel out the "Some boys are getting heads turned by people as it's getting near to transfer window" or fav at the Well which was"I hold my hands up just wasn't good enough today"

But this is a man who didn't want to do another rebuild went to Morecambe and signed about 20 odd players .

To this day I shall never ever understand Robbo thought Aaron Chapman  was a good footballing idea.I would have fire him on the spot for that I still get night sweats thinking about Chapman Vs Hamilton.

Chapman's performance at Accies could only be described as the same as the pie he shared his name with......full of mince

How do we know we haven't been looking? They're not going to tell us about anyone we asked who wasn't interested.

I have no doubt we have been looking and like every other club finding that dream striker on our budget is difficult. It would just be nice though to have a back up for KVV, yep plenty of time left before window ends but hopefully get someone in soon.  Now I know what answer will be from most folk but would Griffiths on say a 3 month deal be worth trying?,. Yep a brave move but if it didn't work then all parties would move on

Having had a look at the club's twitter there, some of the comments about woolery leaving are insane, the woman calling burrows and the club out for selling him after her weans got woolerys name on the back of there new strips was a particular highlight, that and someone thanking woolery for lighting up fir park while he was here.

I must have been watching a different player to those people commenting on twitter, everyone has their own views but for me it isn't a great loss.... COYW
