A finish that some of our first team needs to make, very composed.
He has done well so far. The boy Doak of Liverpool looks an outstanding prospect, only turned 17

And he has just scored!!

At Fir Park for Scotland U21 match, young Max Johnston starts and almost scored in first minute

Over loyalty to players yet again. I ain't a porteous fan but he was outstanding last game so why on earth start Hanley and please don't get me started on mctominay!!!

Willie Hunter last inductee for this year. I have to say I did find that emotional as he was my Dad's hero when he followed the well home and away. He would have been so chuffed to see Willie in Hall of Fame but would no doubt have said......should have happened years ago!! .lol

One for the older gang, RIP Jimmy O'Rourke. Remember seeing him play in mid to late 70's just when I was starting to go to games

<nerd alert>George's mother is also called Marjorie and sometimes appeared on Shooting Stars in place of her wee boy.</nerd alert>
So she did, glad I am not the only nerd out there!!!

I am not a huge Spittal fan and has hee haw pace but goals and assists record is not bad. I feel he is better suited in a 4 4 2

Boom!
Grizzly G will be getting retired if he keeps missing open goals like that!
I actually did consider Geordie Daws but wasn't sure how many Shooting Stars fans we had on the forum

I think Slattery need to loose a few pounds. His stamina and passing seems to have gone the wrong way. I’d be looking for more from him. I think Spittal and Cornelius could be interchanged so one gives it 100% then replace with the other as they start to tire. Midfield definitely needs to work harder. They seem to get caught in the middle not up supporting forwards or back helping defense. They need to up the work rate and just sub them as they tire.
or to be Grizzzly-esque. Flood the midfield and use our subs!
Good one

Give me Louis Moult any time as he has a passion for the club, hopefully after world cup will be a lot fitter. Shows a lot more passion than KVV who just has look of not caring ......again just my opinion which I am entitled to...COYW
-
Was out today so never saw any of game but it's a point so not a disaster. If Moult can get fit it will benefit us, KVV regularly starts and strolls about like a training session. Get them together in regular basis and see what happens

Assuming the worst case scenario comes to pass, and based on recent selections, Hammy will probably still opt for one striker, most likely Shields, as Moult is most unlikely to start. Morris could well start. Hopefully though a young lad or two will get some game time depending on how things are going - even a couple of minutes would signal Hammy's commitment to youth.
Yep agree totally, whatever happened to young Spiers?

Just watched him in the game against Hamilton tonight, he's a big unit, good on the ball and seems to be scoring lots for Ayr, so he might be worth a punt but depends on what sort of contract he is on and given he is their main goal threat Ayr won't want to lose him so might be difficult to deal with.
Swap deal for Morris and Maguire....seemples
-
I know it's a lower decision but I would take a punt on akinyemi of Ayr utd, worth a bid in January
-
It just sums Sellik up, even after disallowed goal you could hear fans claiming every decision. They won the game but can't stop moaning about VAR yet not a peep about the songs that their fans sing or the Flare display before the match .....ahhhh I forgot.....it's that's special atmosphere that they bring.....aye right

After disappointment of last night this might cheer you all up. Heading back last night with my 2 mates and mates lad. Can't remember who I was talking about but I said they "weren't the brightest tool in the box"!!!, Think I got my sayings mixed up. Reminiscent of Softie Philliben back in 1994 after Dundee utd cup tie saying it gives us "another crack at the cherry". Heh he

You really love Sean Goss
BBC ratings love him even more!! Lol

All our defeats have been by odd goal which doesn't make it any better but also we are not that far away. I have been big critic but I would start shields through the middle as main striker, he ain't a winger so no point playing him there and KVV as lone striker is just not helping as hee haw work rate for him. if he's not fit then he shouldn't be starting. If things not going well bring him and Louis on for last half hour.
Let's finish up for mini break on a high COYW

No one is questioning Penny for taking the throw in with a player so close just VAR nonsense
Yup I said same last night, just needed simple throw back to Lamie. But Penney been great signing so far so I will cut him some slack
-
And for controversy of 2nd goal to be honest Jotas goal should have stood
-
Watching highlights, van Veen miss poor and dugs dinner from Slattery from first goal

Totally see where you coming from. Kelly's height and distribution can work against him. What I don't understand is why if he is no.2 is Clarke isn't prepared to give him a game for experience. Gordon still no.1 which can't be argued against but he's nearly 40. Euros will be his last campaign
