And Jack Hendry withdraws. A player his Club had declared injured several weeks ago and who has not played since. So when it suits Clarke he selects injured players and those lacking game time, but when it also suits he uses injuries and lack of game time as reasons for not picking players. No Shankland ...or Taylor....for those reasons but let's include Hendry and Gilmour, and now Celtic's third choice full back. Somebody, somewhere should be asking Clarke what is going on with his squads and not accepting his nonsensical reasoning.
I can't understand Ralston call up when we already have Hickey and Patterson in squad. On bonus front Haaland out of Norway squad so hopefully Spain and Georgia can do us a favour

Feels Scottish.... aye ok, he's on record stating how shit it is being part of the international squads and being away with Scotland, it does not matter if your dad, Grandad etc are Scots, the boy owes everything he has in football to England, youth teams semi pro, and pro contracts etc and if he had as much as a sniff of an England call up he would be nowhere near us, so I'm not having any of that " I feel Scottish " shite.
How many genuine home grown players has Scotland lost over the years because they were not picked in place of Random English players whose Grannies once had shortbread at Gretna Green.
Why are players like Alan Campbell, Turnbull, Nisbet to name a few getting over looked for guys like, Che Adams, Jacob Brown, lyndon Dykes, and the latest guy from Blackburn Dominic Hyam its feckin nonsense.
Dominic Hyam was born in Fife

He's on camera talking about how shit it is being away with Scotland, fuck him.
I think Liam and Zander Clark will be saying the same come 1.00 on Saturday when Clarke announces his team line up v Cyprus.....and frankly I wouldn't blame them

Another pretend Scotsman who is only playing for us as he was never going to be good enough to be called up by England, and as it turns out he's not even good enough for us.
Dad Scottish and he has always pledged his allegiance, only problem is he ain't that good but he gained a lot of respect for me as had guts to take a penalty in shoot out v serbia

The other 40 clubs could get rid of the arse cheeks if they all stick together , But self interest for most of these clubs means it will never happen.
If they left I genuinely believe you would get bigger crowds as it would be a competitive league. Imagine playing in a league when you had a genuine chance of winning it. Will never happen though......a bit like me having a successful 10 minute comedy routine!! Lol

No, the disgrace is that we have three keepers with zero caps. Clarke ought to have been playing reserve keepers in friendlies, dead rubbers and qualifiers against the lowest opposition for the past 2-3 years at least.
Agree totally, the friendly in Turkey last November was Perfect opportunity to try new goalie but no let's stick with a 40yr old
If McTominay plays in centre defence also it sums Clarke up
-
If Kelly was man of the match yesterday it would have made no difference. Gunn certainty to start which is a disgrace.
Yep same as Joe. I would have asked big Marsh to help us out. Gunn should be nowhere near the squad...I would start him v Cyprus and take him off after 2 mins and say cheerio! Lol

Special mention also yesterday to Casey. What about that run in the 2nd half when he sprinted whole length of park to support KVV.
Get him signed up asap. Really like him as a defender and his attitude, reminds me very much of Tom Aldred.

For this I think it's just time to move on. Whether you are a fan of the Bois .... against them or feel the club and them need to sit down and sort things out.
We move on to Easter Road in a fortnight and hope for a crucial 3pts and a VAR assistant that knows the rules..... COYW

Watched sportscene, 1st goal is a shocker between Slattery foul and Kelly making total pigs ear of it .
And we'll said Richard Foster for calling out Cantwell over 2nd Slattery booking, absolute embarrassment
-
Usual frustration today especially after getting back to 2-2. I have been very impressed with kettlewell but he blundered today keeping Slattery on pitch after his what ..20th or so booking of season, at least he will now be suspended so every cloud.
I totally disagree with Angus Gunn situation but when you see Kelly today for 1st goal you do see he is not international class.
Anyway we move on....COYW

Onto today's game and a view from the terrace last night done good article on us and praise for KVV, Deano and Danno. I don't think many of us expect a win today and would happily take a point if offered but you know what this hoodoo needs to end sometime so why not today...COYW

I'd forgotten how many seasons Coyne and Arnott had played together. Certainly 2 of my favoured strikers over the years.
Our 2-1 victory in 1994, coynes pass to arnott..... unbelievable

If well Bois not there at the start it's up to the other 3,500 well season ticket holders to create a great atmosphere which I am sure they will. We have had a great passionate support long before the well Bois were on the scene. Let's all concentrate on ending this 20 years plus hoodoo .... COYW

Not getting in big debate about this, I would rather focus on match. Have said before that my mates lads are part of that section and are great lads that bring great support......however there is definitely an element that cause bother and maybe the Bois should concentrate on them and getting them removed from that section.
Hope it all gets resolved and everyone can support club in the correct manner......COYW

Clarke bangs on about loyalty and some players he has picked. Yet no loyalty to the keepers who have turned up to every squad. If McTominay starts in a back 3 role that will be the icing on his rubbish cake

That's the one that annoys me most too.
A simple "born in the country or one parent born in the country" should be the limit.
Yup agree totally. Just gets silly when it goes beyond that.

The grandparent/ancestor rule is one of the (many) reasons that makes International football meaningless to me. If you can pick and choose your nationality in a footballing sense then it just makes a mockery of the whole thing and it is clear that in the case of Angus Gunn that he is opting to ‘be Scottish’ because he knows he has next to no chance of ever featuring for the England national team. I know his father is Scottish but that was the case when Gunn jnr was representing England at every youth level up to u-21, so why else change national team now?
The rugby situation is worse....pick guys who stayed here for 5 years....one of players even has 14 caps for Australia!!
-
I don't think Kelly is international level but the Gunn scenario is an absolute joke. I don't doubt eligibility as Dad Scottish but he turned us down twice and then spookily enough after Gordon gets long term injury he suddenly decides he wants to play for us.
Clarke should have told him where to go but this is the man who is over loyal and also doesnt pick shankland or nisbet or Morgan but sticks with Jacob Brown!!....totally crackers!!!

His hands must have been too cold from the Falkirk weather to feel the OF balls from the freezer.
Or forgot which was which.....he had the right cold balls ..but not necessarily....for the right teams 😜😜😜😜
