Robinson likes big, strong players and plays direct football, that’s not going to change as he seems to think that’s the most effective use of a limited budget. We won’t be signing creative players and playing pretty passing football with him in charge and this season will be exactly the same as last season style wise so we might as well accept it until he’s either offered another position or is sacked. Not saying people need to like it but that’s just the way it is.

I’d be amazed if we fail to progress. I’m expecting us to win the next two games.

So the benchmark we have to meet is winning the league or a cup, get ready to be very dissapointed just about every season for the next 30 years.

There are bullies that manage, and people that will say they are bullied when it’s total nonsense. Certainly in the world I manage in you have to be careful with every single word you say these days because it’s thrown back at you as bullying. I would not want to manage professional footballers for 24 hours.

And to be fair York fall into that category with the owner being a successful businessman who has put millions into the club although they are moving into a new stadium next season and he gets it back from the proceeds when the old ground is sold.

Yep it’s a different world down south. My home club York City who are now in national league north, (6th tier) have a crazy playing budget.

Rodriquez looked the most promising of the new players to me, nice touch and always looking for the ball, Donnelly very solid although poor opposition so time will tell. I would agree i’m not sure what Johnstone is going to offer in truth. Sammon strolled around looking half interested offering very little.

They spent ages letting everyone through the same turnstiles before splitting those with tickets like me and those paying cash.

Pretty much the same Sammon from last season for me.

Having seen Sammon quite a bit last season he was awful and well below anything Bowman did. Really terrible signing in my view, and I tend to give everyone a chance and be very much a glass half full type of guy. A Thistle mate at work is laughing his head off, he’s incredibly lucky to still be plying his trade in the premiership.

Even if true Rangers won’t pay what he’s worth. Anyone that leaves needs to move down to England to benefit the club.

I have a feeling the away kit will be one of the biggest sellers in recent times. The guy in the club shop told me last seasons black/grey was a very big seller and this on is a hell of a lot better and actually uses the clubs colours. The only thing I would change would be the collar

Is that not the same collar as last seasons white top, also the home collar looks the same as the grey and black shirt, also from last season.

I’d be amazed if Dunn did not start and I don’t see Robinson changing from his favoured formation, why should he, it works in the main. I would also agree the set up does Cadden no favours though.
