Pretty much every manager we have goes through a really, really bad spell. Although we've scrapped into top 6 by the skin of our teeth today, the result means GA has survived his. No question that he'll be here next season.

We have had some terrible linesman recently but the guy today was taking the pish. He was struggling to drag his belly up and down the line the entire game.
One of the worst I've seen. He had no clue whether our chance was over the line but somehow sees a goal kick the otheside of the goal minutes later.

90mins shitfest. Livi should have been out of sight not long into the 2nd half but all credit to the players for fighting to the end and getting the result we needed.
Scenes at the end will stay with me a long, long time. What supporting the 'Well is all about.

Put Lasley in until the end of the season, get a consistent established 11, try and get a bit of confidence, and play a midfield, then on to next season.
As much as we all like Lasley, he should be nowhere near the top job.

I've backed GA all season but thats the final straw for me right there. Huge investment in the squad this year and this poor run has absolutely ruined a promising season. Time to see what someone else can do with the squad next year.

I guess the answer there is don’t give our own players dogs abuse. Can anyone name a single time that supporters abusing their own players has actually improved things ? All that happens is they go into hiding or down tools. GA needs to pick a starting 11 and baring injuries stick with it, the constant chopping and changing never bring success.
I can remember years ago Shaun Fagan getting absolute pelters from most in the stadium. A group of fans then made the point of going OTT supporting/praising him and he had a huge upturn in form. Just shows ye.

Woolery changed the game but Kelly won us the points.

Brilliant result. Showed them far too much respect at the start of the game. Hopefully thats the lesson learned and we actually try to play football against the arse cheeks from now on.
Good run of fixtures heading into the split now and we'll take some confidence from that today. Europe here we come

Doing our best to ensure they have their easiest game of the season. Started the game just playing to their strengths. Sick of this attitude against the OF away.

Shame we can't get Aberdeen in the next round

Are the ticket office selling tickets for this would you need to buy from DU directly?

Ok so its official then Efford is pish, we could always put in a bid for the Raith Rapist, he had a decent scoring record at lower league Clyde and will probably be a free agent soon , would he do
Maybe go for something slightly less contrversial with Leigh Griffiths. Might go under the radar while the Raith/Goodwillie stuff is going on

I'm not sure amaluzor is up to it but he seems to only get on the park when the game is gone,it's not really fair on the guy.
Almost poetic that he is named as such

A few players strike me as thinking they are a lot better than they actually are. Trying to play fancy football in all the wrong situations.
-
Overall happy with the performance so far. Playing some nice football but KVV has to put away one of his chances. Will be a sore one if we don't take something from the game.
-
Aberdeen will be more disappointed with the draw than us. All that needs to be said really.
Deserved fuck all out the game today but at least we saw a bit of fight from the team after going behind. Something that was missing against County. Looking forward to seeing Tierney play more, looks like he will add a lot of attacking ability to the midfield.
Defo think we need another striker. Back up options are not good enough to maintain our season.

Seen reports that Zak Rudden has signed a pre-contract with Dundee.

GA looks like he's ready to knock a few players out.

Are we always awful the first game back after the winter break or is it my imagination?
Add international breaks to that too.

Absolute clusterfuck of a performance. Back to zero creativity. Switched off waiting for the half time whistle and look like we waiting for the full time whistle the minute we're a man up.
Why are we always so bad after a break?

Best bit of business we will do this window

Shankland has chased the money twice now and it hasn't worked out for him (bank balance aside) Sure he was on about 5grand a week at United?
If he's looking to settle at a club back home for a while and hone his game, perhaps with a view of moving onto the English Championship, we'd be the perfect club for him.
If he's available and within our wage structure we'd be mad not to consider him IMO.
It would also piss United off which would be a bonus!

I know this is a fairly common view point, but why?
For me it's simply because we'd be assisiting the development of players from rival club.
Only exception I'd make would be if they were good enough to be first pick on the team sheet or we were in desperate need of cover.
Never even heard of this guy before so couldn't comment on wheter he's better than what we already have and don't think we are that short of cover in midfield?

Hard to pick anyone today but thought Shields done well with what he was asked to do.
