He said that in context of a wider interview. Which you've taken one sentence from. And he looked completely gutted that we didn't get top six. You could see looking from that interview how upset he was that we didn't get top six. From the start of the interview

See that mate. It's not over ambition to be top 6 though

Rubbish they have similar finances if they could afford to pay Van Veen 6k a week.

As I said. They showed ambition. Similar finances. Mwell could have paid it but didn't. Remember Dundee in debt and St Mirren in debt.

Come on. Top six was tight and it went to the wire as it has done more than once.

If Killie have a similar budget to us then why could they throw silly money at Van Veen

Dundee scraped in. Give me a break

Similar fan base similar finances. Killie we re showing more ambition. Although they didn't need van veen. They also got great manager

Lennon Miller wont be with us next season, firstly we cant afford to let his contract run down to the end of 2025. Hes not going to sign another extension. I get the impression the one he did sign was similar to Turnbull to ensure we got some money for our investment. Id expect the club to cash in in the summer.

True mate. Least we will get some money. Unless investors back us up

  5. Kettlewell. "If we get top six we're punching well above our weight,

that's shite! Kilmarnock Dundee and St Mirren made it with similar budgets.

DOes anyone think we would be punching well above our weight to get top 6? Mccall did it easily. As did Robinson

  6. Shit season. Biereth going was a kick in the baws. If he had stayed we would have made top 6. But great Bair done so well. And Gent and Vale. If we keep all 3 plus miller it looks like next season will be better. Prefer we don't re sign Kelly and get commanding goalie. Not bothered about losing Spittal too. Think he won't replicate that form and jambos don't give much time. I think Danda will be Thier main creative player.

I don't think he will be a bit player, Hearts are signing a proven goal scorer in the premiership a midfielder with a goal tally most strikers would love over a few seasons. For me he'll be an integral part of their team.

I think he will be. At utd he scored 8 in 82. He's a confidence player and season before last he wasn't as prolific either. Much more competition at Hearts.

But we've had VAR decisions that have worked in our favour too. I completely agree that goal should have been given but we've benefited from VAR over this season too

Want consistency. The hand ball rule should be looked at. It keeps getting interpreted differently. I rather we win fair than got unfair decisions too.

More likely they will take him out to the north sea and push him overboard to save the payoff fee.

He's big and round they may put rubber ring round him use him as a large buoy. Or his hot air for a wind farm in north sea.

It would be the most ‘Motherwell’ thing ever if we follow up a win against Rangers at Ibrox with a home defeat to a struggling Aberdeen next week.

Not struggling now they got mojo back beating a good Killie side.

The challenge for him now is to see if he can keep up or improve his performances as teams will be paying more attention to him.

Very true. It will be pivotal time in his career if he can reach next level or not. Certainly Rangers couldn't cope with him.
