  1. Aye, I think uve made Ur point( amongst others) re shields, he isn't a world beater but he didn't miss an open goal on sat, he set the chance up if I remember
  2. Think the Hibs boss might be working his ticket, having a pop at the" mediocrity" in the squad, seems aimed at board....wait till he sees the Motherwell team I do think we are due a win v them though but that means hee haw
  3. Like I've already said, I've no desire to see the boy fail....just looks like another Stuart Carswell, does a lot of things ok , but nothing outstanding....he's young and might go on to do really well and I'll be wrong ( again) Carswell plays with Dumbarton now
  4. It will be interesting to see what areas hammel strengthens to see if he rates them...mkinstry shows some nice touches but just not enough... shields caused more problems today and put in better crosses Cornelius just seems to run about but not do much Not a popular opinion, I know, they're well fans and young , so I'd love the two of them to be cracking players too
  5. Saw second half, he looked ok , from what I saw....anyway, even if he's not , give the boy Johnston a chance
  6. He is good on the ball but I think we need to close the back door
  7. Yorky, youre not one for knee jerk reactions, so it's worrying when you say that
  8. He took his goal well but the miss is horrible, he missed an open goal v Dundee utd earlier in season, we could be 4 pts better off....you just shouldn't miss open goals
  9. But if our strikers miss open goals, what hope is there?
  10. Hibs next and they and their manager need a result..so who better to play?
  11. He put 2 or 3 on a plate, his crossing is better than Mkinstry or Cornelius , we should be coming away with the points , howler again from vv
  12. Only seen second half, but maybe temping fate but I think we have looked the better team and shields has looked lively, set up a few chances
  13. Is there not an ongoing case re betting allegations.?.. I doubt anyone is going to touch him whilst that's on the go At the beginning of the season I was up for taking a punt on him
  14. I know what you're saying, it's not easy to look good in a struggling team and he is young but I take it hammy doesn't see a lot either , we need a ball winner in there and the position is up for grabs There's still time for the boy to prove us wrong and I hope he does
  15. I wouldn't read too much into the eye contact thing, everyone has their quirks, if we saw ourselves, we might cringe?? All that is fluff tho, just get us winning , Stevie. On another note , there was a shout for an extra body in the midfield, it didn't make much odds...I hope I am proven wrong but the boy Cornelius will end in the lower leagues very soon, just don't see what he brings ....p s I know we might end up in the lower leagues too
  16. Yep, I knew that, was being ironic , based on the post about " bluenoses"
  17. Maybe so but if the other guy is commanding in the box, maybe he should get a chance, haven't seen him so I don't know
  18. He could've done better for both goals, amongst others
  19. Thought Goss has shown some nice touches, other 2 anonymous
  20. Is O'Donnell a blue nose too, he played his part too...maybe they're all just shit
