  1. Funny thing about Fergie , he did come across as a bit nervy , jittery , flakey....take your pic but can't deny what he achieved, especially at Aberdeen. One of the first things he did was intimidate officials...suppose you can understand that. Wouldn't get away with that now but nothings changed, still dont get benefit of doubt against Glasgow teams. Actually now we have VAR, which has managed to make things worse. Maybe another discussion but I'm on a roll...officiating at WC has been largely OK, I think. Letting a lot go ...maybe to Scotlands detriment. They weren't stonewallers but another day, we get one of them .
  2. Jim Jeffries and Jock Wallace had an aura.
  3. He's managed at Rosenborg , he's not a novice...like I say it's the close season for folks.
  4. Must be the close season , finding things to judge people on that you can't " define" I agree re jba but this guy has a good reputation, that'll do for me just now.
  5. This thread is becoming about you again lad. Not totally your fault...this time. I think McInnes is OK mgr but like you say , let's move on , it's about AJ now.
  6. It's going to be a tough gig to replicate last year...especially without Slatts and Just? And whoever else...Jba was obviously a good coach but we had some great players last year...onwards and upwards though.
  7. Sounds like they mightve crossed paths if he was at Copenhagen .
  8. Jeez, you dont half quote the bloody obvious..." fine as long as it works out" ....covering all the bases there.
  9. Could it be something to do with new boss being announced??
  10. The board are switched on and will be carrying out due diligence so maybe because of the absence of any other rumours , it's getting some traction.
  11. Great post..based on whats happened with us over past few seasons, id favour a foreign coach....but surely theres a uk coach out there who is looking to make a name for themselves. Maybe not an absolute rule but the Scandanavians just seem more astute and intelligent than our guys. What about Stavri Kettlesborg?
  12. I reckon thats a deflection tactic...change the narrative to tje unruly fans.
