I realise that I am not the target audience for these sort of things, but am I alone in thinking that DT may have been ill advised to appear on such a production? Cringeworthy and embarrassing would be my first thoughts on the general content. I understand that these are unprecedented times, but a player in Turnbull 's position really has nothing to gain and quite a lot to lose by choosing to appear on it. As it was, and I have to admît that I couldn't bring myself to listen to all of it, he seems to not have said anything too stupid, but it begs the question, why put yourself in that position in the first place?

Totally agree,as much as I like a carry on and a laugh,I thought this was really cringy, looked as if nobody could be bothered.think davie seems a decent, laid back sort of guy and a bit unsure amongst 3 guys who if they were honest didn't give it their all cause there brains were full of shite

Yes it's all total pish isn't. The only reason no one but them or their other half have won the league in more than 3 decades is simply because everybody else is shiting it. Forget budgets, means absolutely nothing in Scotland apparently but strangely is the key deciding factor everywhere else in the world.

You need to get your superior footballing knowledge out there. I want to see a team operating on freebies winning the Champions League.

Bang on the money. Some folk need a huge reality check.

  3. U can only beat whats In front of u and did that well enough against a poor hibs side. A good few 7 out of tens. Feel there's still more to come from this team once it really gels. Should have 3 up before pen kick. 2 wins, 1 draw 1 defeat. Not bad, not bad at all

Got to ask what do you see in Hylton and Illic both up till now have been rotten

Too early to judge players, can take players months to settle in, but 100 percent they need body strengting work and you wonder about there previous coaching. Real naivety about there understanding of the game

  5. Poor poor performance. Apart from being shite, the biggest worry about that team is the lack of leadership, desire and resolve. The 2 wingers hylton, seedorf are a problem, imo we are playing with 9 men. They offer nothing and seedorf especially look weak. My granny could take the ball off him, shocking upper body strength. Illic doesn't look interested. A real naivety about this team and can see us taking some real gubbins away from home. At this stage in time I feel we need a change of formation and benching 1 or 2 of our wide men. The torrential rain that fell last night meant we needed men on the park unfortunately there were some posted missing.

Big game tonight... which I think is more important than simply getting through a round of the league cup, as it’ll kind of set the tone for the early part of the season.... and hopefully give us a lot of confidence going in to the next league games.

If there’s one thing I hope to hear tonight, it’s, “you’re getting sacked in the morning!”

Celtic were not allowed to start for the first 20 minutes. Gifting them their first goal changed the mood of the game completely.

I thought we were excellent up until we scored. High tempo, high pressing, accuracy in the pass. Certainly signs of what could be this season.

Their goal knocked the wind out of our sails and we never recovered. All the hard work was wiped out on their first attack and the players allowed it to get to them.

I did not think the problem lay in our midfield three and infact I thought Donnelly, Campbell and Polworth were fantastic in the first half. The problem was more the lack of effectiveness of the much heralded new players. Too often there was no end product from Sedoorf,  Hylton and Long leaving the midfield three too much to carry on their own. I am happy to give them time because those players faced a level of opposition today that they will rarely have faced in their careers. However, sadly it showed leaving the midfield three far too much ground to cover.

Five shots on target and five goals from Celtic tells a story. They have a quality in their side that we can only dream of and to have Christie, Sinclair and Edouard coming off the bench when our players were visibly tiring makes a nonsense of any faint hope that they would suffer a midweek European hangover.

Celtic should not be in the same league as us but the quirks of geography and political history means that they are a huge fish in a tiny pond and today it showed.

Gillespie has been excellent for us so those calling for him to be replaced after one poor performance is nonsense. Certainly enough to give us hope and Hearts will be a far more reliable test of the true position of our squad at this moment in time.

Finally, I think Gallacher looks a real find. He was unlucky today with the free kick and the yellow card was a nonsense but sadly I think that affected him because up until then he looked in complete control.

First Post on here, and agree with most of above.celtic huge step up in class and can only be a good thing for new players letting them know what's required re fitness, strength. Etc as we did look out muscled at times. Disappointed with result obviously but  confident there's better to come. Gallagher a standout. Class act.
