  1. Hollis & Kaven were horrendous as well I also think @grumpy is being overly kind to Woods, maybe not the worst but a horror bag of a keeper
  2. I'll never forgive woods for that pass straight to Durie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus he was utterly shambolic as a keeper!!!!!!!!
  3. Totally different times with different valuations. Think of what some of the above players would have been worth in todays market and Miller's valuation wouldn't seem so much.
  4. He is better than what we've got, of that there is no doubt............at least in my head 🤪
  5. Hale has scored 104 goals in 208 matches since 2020 spanning 3 teams and his stats suggest he is quite an impressive player
  6. Id doubt they would get that for him in fairness (although I could be wrong) What they want and what they get a 2 different things
  7. Totally agree, Hale fits the bill perfectly although he is apparently attracting interest from down south. He would be a great addition to the team imo
  8. I never actually seen him play, spoke to him plenty when he ran the petrol station on New Edinburgh Rd and seemed a really nice guy!!!!
  9. Cant believe more folk dont have Tommy Coyne in their teams!!!!!!! I loved that guy, had zero pace but was a fantastic footballer. Id also put Rab Mckinnon against any of our left backs, again, he was fantastic in my eyes. Also, Randolph for me is the best keeper we have had
  10. Training facilities Stand upgrades Increase the max wage limit by even £250-500 per week for top earners which would unlock another level of player even at that small increase Bank at least half for a rainy day
  11. Hopefully this gets put to bed over the course of today and tomorrow and Jens can get some CB's and CF's in the door over the coming week
  12. Ive no doubt its all potential at his age but there are numerous players his age and below who have gone for similar if not a lot more money and as u say its all just potential Oyo, 14 years old - €2.5mil Merida - 15 years old - €3.2ml Pellegri - 16 years old - €20mil And just for laughs and if we want to get silly and suggest every single player of his age only has potential then Pato - 17 years old - €24mil Junior - 18 years old - €45mil Rodrygo - 18 years old - €45mil Some could argue that the above, of literally hundreds of young players didnt have the stats of Miller or had/have even been capped for their country so I still maintain that £4.5mil, given his apparent stats and stature isn't an awful lot of money but the fact he plays for Motherwell and is playing in Scotland along with not having a fancy sounding name has clearly had an impact on his valuation, so as I said, lets hope we get a good sell on clause and all the 4.5mil is up front and maybe add an "o" to the end of Miller 🤑
  13. I have to admit, considering all the hype around Lennon (mostly from his dad 🤣), 4.5mil is underwhelming, especially when you look at bang average players going for tens of millions of pounds all over europe and England in particular. I suppose its the back water market we are in but hopefully we get a good sell on clause and as Grizzly says, we can move on as its really dragging on now!!!!!
