  1. Excellent performance, one of the best of the season. Their GK kept that from being 4 or 5 nil
  2. VAR is to blame, not the officials. They are given basic tools to their jobs and then have to make a call on decisions from poor angles and poor cameras. It should never have been introduced into our game until we had the infrastructure. But here we are. Imagine the fallout if Rangers were in Hearts position on Wednesday. I also agree with their statement on the hysteria around this. The statement we put out today was poor regarding our game being a joke. That is very harsh, considering the EPL announced today that 29 mistakes have been made by VAR down there this season and they have about 100 cameras per game and a far more advanced system than us. No conspiracies, no dodgy refs, this is essentially down to a poor VAR system that doesn’t work.
  3. Anyone know if there are any bus seats available anywhere. Bit last minute but would need two seats?
  4. That’s unrealistic though. I am pretty sure Celtic could offer him over £1 million per year. Easy. I would imagine we would be about £300k - we can’t compete with that.
  5. Let’s not kid ourselves on here. There is a very high chance Jens will be away in the summer. I would imagine a lot of clubs across Europe will be keeping tabs on him. It’s the way it is. Anyone who does well at our club has a high chance of not being there for long.
  6. You’ve done it again! In your previous message you claimed our manager is bang average and in this one you are doing the exact same thing in pulling out stats to suit a narrative. We are clearly not going to win every game so beyond that you look at the performances and most have been very good even when we have drawn or lost. Stop trying to make this something it’s not. We have had an excellent season, have a great team and a very good manager.
  7. Wow. You just love getting the boot in. I have said it before and will again, we need to stop and remember where this team was last season and judge JBA on that. Yes we have had a dip in form but to pick apart the season with that statement above is ridiculous. I have absolutely loved this season, it’s the best football I have seen at Fir Park and long may it continue.

4 match suspension for his “dive” Wild
  9. I think you need to look beyond the points in the league and the cup games. Jens arrived at a club that let’s be honest was playing terrible football and had essentially become a bottom six team that might just survive if we get a decent run. Within a summer he totally transformed our style of play, exciting to watch, hard to beat and holding onto the ball for long periods of games. Comfortably into the top six and have an outstanding chance of Europe. You have to look at where we have come from to judge how good he has been.
  10. Teams are starting to work us out. But the fact that Hibs are coming to Fir Park for the draw says a lot. We look a wee bit tired but we are at that stage of the season where energy levels can start to drop. I think with the break coming up and then Falkirk at home then we might be 9 points clear with one to go for the spilt. Which would be ideal.
  11. Also back on topic, beat Hibs, consolidate 4th and chase down Hearts for third as I fully expect them to collapse.
  12. Don’t agree with that at all. He has totally transformed the national side and Hampden is the hottest ticket in town. He has brought Miller into the team and done the same with Hickey, Doak and now Curtis. If someone said we would get a manager that qualified for 3/4 tournaments he competed in would bite your hand off for that.
  13. I thought some of our football was excellent today. Watched it on Celtic Tv and Peter Grant was full of praise for us. It was a pen, but the red card was awful, terrible decision that has changed the game. We lacked a bit of cutting edge up front today and were wasteful in good areas. But our play from the back to midfield was outstanding. Keep playing the way we are then 3rd or 4th is achievable which let’s be honest would be a fantastic result for the club. Just got to keep building this style of play into next season as I’m sure it will bring success to the club.
  14. Elbow in the baws is an elbow in the baws. No hiding from that. The boy knew he was fucked with his reaction. End of the day Goodwin is an absolute shite bag. Came to Fir Park for a draw. No believe in his team. I give him two weeks.
  15. They could do the double, that’s the question though, do you take potential cup success over long term success in the league. Hard one to pick to be honest.
