Ojala dropping out the team is a benefit. Him and Sol have some big improvements to make in their defensive play going into next season.
Hopefully Kelly can keep it under 5 today. -
The subs were made at the right time today. County must be kicking themselves lol
-
Shields should’ve played it out wide there
-
Considering how likely we are to concede, I’d rather we went for a second than sit back and invite them onto us.
-
We have nothing up top. Hoping, like others, that we can keep it 0-0 until we’re able to throw KVV and Slattery on.
Thankfully, County haven’t bothered to have a real go at our defence yet. -
I honestly think some were too quick to push the panic button with Robbo, I was a fan
The run we are on at present is arguably worse than anything Robbo did, he got us to two cup finals which is still one of my best seasons following the Well , and of course the third placed finish
Also beating Rangers at Hampden the day Moult scored twice is one of my greatest days following the Well, plus the mess he inherited when McGhee had left
The players let Robinson down but at the end of the day he’s the one who signs them, he’s held his hands up to that. -
If they've lumbered us with a manager we can't afford to get rid of - no matter what - their hands should be cuffed, not tied. But I don't believe that can actually be the case.
To casual observers, Alexander getting us into the top 6 makes it look like they've absolutely no decision to make, but anyone watching this stuff, week in/week out, knows that shouldn't be the case. I'm sure it's already been decided, though.
It’s not that I think we can’t sack him because of the extension but it definitely plays a part in the process.
I seriously hope that they’re meeting with him tomorrow and offering a win or bust scenario for next week.- 1

He wouldn’t have survived St Johnstone if it wasn’t for the board giving him a new deal in January.
A deal which seemed merited at the time but has backfired horrifically.
Their hands are now tied. -
Same again next week. Alexander’s jobs safe.
-
Any chance Burrows could grow a set at half time and fire this arsehole?
Securing top 6 saved his job, he knows he doesn’t need to do anything more. We could lose 5-0 in the next 3 games and he’d still be here come Dumbarton away in July. -
United won’t be as bad as this in the second half. Got to take one of our chances
-
Edwards shocking tackle on Slattery right outside the box deemed not to be a booking by Clancy lol
-
And appoint who, most of the other candidates are bottom six managers
I have more faith in us getting the decision right if we do it now than waiting until December when the job is less attractive. -
Expectations have to change as the season goes on. We were comfortably sitting 4th up against the worst standard the league has seen in years at the turn of the year.
Form since then has been unacceptable and there would be definite justification if the board decided to sack him. -
We had to go for it at half time and didn’t. We’ve conceded the most goals of any team in the league since the turn of the year, being over reliant on our defence when we really didn’t need to be was an absolute killer today and has been for the past 4 months.
-
Our squad has improved from last season but that says more about how bad we were then. The defence needs an entire clear out in the summer and we need to add to the midfield and attack.

A really really poor decision from the club. Burrows excuse about “Saturday games” is pathetic.
-
What's the deal with their fans getting up to no good at the women's game at fir park today?
Vermin being vermin. -
I don’t understand why we go with the 5-2-3. If he doesn’t trust the defence (who can blame him) then why sacrifice a body in the midfield when you’ve got 3 players up top getting very poor (if any) service.
-
It’s a really easy decision for the board... if he didn’t (rightly or wrongly) get a 3 year deal in January.
-
The infuriating part is he’ll survive this thanks to a premature contract extension handed out by the club.
-
One sub after that absolutely woeful performance.
Times up for Alexander -
This is woeful
-
All creativity disappeared in the second half. Calling out for a sub.

We need either one or both of Woolery / KVV. We’ve got nothing up top to hold onto the ball.
