Just realised that of the teams supported in my work there have been two cup wins this season ... Man City and Darlington. Good luck comes in threes .... and there are no Celtic, Man Utd or Barcelona fans here ! After the usual fear and despondency about the Final I am now confidently predicting a 1-0 win for the Well after Man City and Darlo's results. Got to be Sutton with the winner. Or a 4-3 extra time win .... And I will try not to be influenced by my always (cough) accurate result predicting method based on the number of trains I see, their direction and colour when driving up the M6 and M74 on the way to a game.

Ex-Manse Road area, not travelling as far as others but heading up from Teesside on Friday night (180 miles) with the kids and staying at brothers in Motherwell. I did though hitch hike from Hereford to Motherwell in 1991 for the first semi final game but couldn't make the replay. Took two days. Managed the Final though. Remember walking up Union Street in Glasgow to Glasgow Tech Students Union after the game waving a huge Well flag and getting spat at from buses ... oh the memories .... The semi replay was the only game of the 91 cup run I missed

Humps for me. Getting better and better as JG promised. Randy close second. Hopefully Blackman or Casagolda can add the missing dimension which is someone on the end of Humps crosses. But can't drop Sutton who with Randy and Jennings will be our most important players this season. Great now to have such problems to deal with in the strikers department. And Murphy, who I am still unconvinced by, looked really full of confidence in the first half, whole team were giving Hibs no time at all, if only those chances had been converted. Still, beat Kille, and come back from Odense still in the tie .....
