I would love Ruddy to be back here this coming season. The problem is the best we will get from him is a loan deal - not that I would complain at that. However I would prefer Turner who is Scottish and used to be considered as having excellent potential, especially if he signed a 3 year contract! Another keeper who likely needs regular games. I do remember him coming in for a few games for Everton a while back and letting in a "howler"!

Scottish Premier League side Motherwell have opened talks with released Saddler Rhys Weston who had a trial with the club in April. Weston left Walsall at the start of May along with Sam Parkin, prior to our final game of the season. Weston departed after three seasons so he could move closer to his family who have lived in Scotland while he had made the long commute and live away. Weston recently went to Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty girlfriend's 21st birthday fancy dress party, and teamed up with Rangers goalkeeper mate Neil Alexander to attend as dumb and dummer. I may not be remembering this correctly as it was a while ago! Momo Sylla was out of contract with Saint Johnstone, he signed a new contract with them and negotiated a major chunk of a future transfer for himself, then he got punted to Celtic for 750,000. I remember it because it made sense to me - the player got a cut and the club got a cut (when they would have lost him for nothing).
