  1. Forget guys that there is no chance we can afford like Kasper the ghost, Smith and Stewart. Even forget a twat like Charlie Miller, he can go to Dundee. How about the players in the relegation threatened teams that would be worth a shout? Falkirk - Arfield and Scobbie? Kilmarnock - Bryson and Kyle? Are there any more that would be worth it? I don't think we could afford Arfield as I am sure he signed a new contract, don't know about Scobbie's status. I think Bryson would be a good signing. Don't really want to see Kyle at the Well but if we cant get Juke? As for a right back I am sure I heard that Murty will be available on a free, a bit old but maybe on a years contract (if we could afford him and if he was interested in moving up here - doubt it) or someone like him, giving Saunders / Page another year to develop (For some reason I am not too keen on the Welsh guy even though he has 7 caps).
  2. Thinking about that song brings back good memories
  3. Mine was versus San Jose Earthquakes. A long time ago!
  4. Beckham, Ian Wright, Barry the Fanny, Amoruso, Britton, Ricksen, Jimmy Boyle (I gave up quite quickly trying to work out how to put up the photos!) amoruso.bmp Boyle.bmp Britton.bmp pecker.bmp ricksen.bmp wanker.bmp Wright.bmp
  5. George Best (when he played for that American mob) My first game ever! Nii Lamptey Victor The Dortmund team Stevie Kirk
  6. If I was headhunted (heres hoping!) offering me more cash than I am currently on, then of course I am going to consider it. I would also use it to get more cash from my current employer to stay (if they wanted me that is). I know its a bit different in fitba because it is a limited career life and that if you are playing 1st team fitba you are more in the shop window to gain perhaps a possible even bigger move. However due to the limited time, also due to the chance of career ending injuries and at the age of 17 not fulfilling your potential, I wouldn't blame him for going to the tattie munchers if he is getting more cash. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't be happy and would love him to stay, fulfill his potential and earn a big move in a few years time but its a risk I am not sure I would want to take (if I wasn't a Well fan that is). It could also be the club that are delaying on the contract until they see how he recovers from his injury?
  7. Bit of a tosser coming out with that, I hope he does get into the premiership cos then it means he has been outstanding for us. Skint Rangers can't afford him , dont need him either, Celtic also don't need him. I think his best chance is to play well and get signed by a Championship club unless Hearts try and poach him.
  8. I'm not depressed - even if all that happens then the cash is freed up again and Jimbo has proven he knows what to do with it. Pity he doesn't have the cash that previous managers had available though! That would be interesting.
  9. 250,000 I read somewhere is the agreed price, but if we dont pay it (I doubt we will!) Turner might be an option, Scottish and always good on FM whenever I sign him!

    Slane & O'brien

Not too sure about that myself, don't think he is the finished article yet though. My opinion of course. I hope they both stay and develop their undoubted potential further at FP but I have my doubts that they want to.

    Slane & O'brien

If they don't want to be here, then ta ta from me. Would get compo for them both. Would be disappointed to see O'Brien bugger off but I think McGhee would have already sniffed him out about joining him. Couldn't give a toss about Slane as he is only a promising wee boy - give him too much cash at that age and he might find the pub to be better than the training ground If they are off the wage bill it gives Jimbo more cash to play with and get more quality in from down south or maybe sign Ruddy in January

    Paul Slane

    Good news on both, cheers
  13. I wis 1st Law - a long time ago!
  14. Ya Dancer! On telly live in SE Asia, 6.15pm on Saturday on True Sports 3! Fookin delighted
  15. This pair of signings are exciting! JG signing young players from his old club that he obviously thinks have potential, unless one of them is an Andy Roddie type of deal!
  16. Ha Ha this has been a hilarious read - I assume lots of the posts were booze fueled In my opinion if McGhee isn't man enough to be abused by opposition fans then he is in the wrong business - is it time to get a "normal" job McGhoo? In reality though he will use this to make people feel sorry for him and to take the attention away from the fact that Aberdeen would expect to be beating us on their own patch. TBH McGhee did fantastically well in his 1st season at Fir Park and this shouldn't be forgotten however his whoring, the state he left the club in and trying to punt our best youth players to Celtic when he thought he was going there were all completely outrageous and unacceptable behaviour. Dunno if he is a paedo and I wouldn't like a few thousand punters shouting that at me but then I don't work in the public eye so to speak. Grow up McGhoo!

    Signing #6

If he is as good a forward as Ruddy is a keeper then Happy Days! (until January anyway)
  18. It turned shite a while back
  19. While I hope they all get signed up and in a few years time are good enough to earn big money moves that bring in loads of cash for the Well or stay here for the rest of their careers - but then that probably would mean they aren't that good! In reality I don't give a toss if any of them leave - I'd rather see players at the Well who want to be here or have reasons for being here - such as getting career back on track etc. As soon as they don't want to be here they should be punted for whatever cash we can get. Mainly because I believe that if an employee is unhappy then they should be moved on as unhappy employees generally have poor performance and cause disruption. There should always be another talented Youth Player on the conveyor belt or a decent free signing in the pipeline as long as everyone at FP is doing their job properly. If the background staff want to be at FP then they should be doing their jobs properly unlike McShovelface once he knew Chesney was leaving.
  20. I would sell anyone in today's financial climate if the offer was good - I also feel that Jimbo has the right knowledge and contacts to bring in quality replacements or replacements with potential, unlike previous managers.
  21. His dad is a grade A tosser (garages anyone?) but was a very good player. Maybe Jimbo sees potential in him that Accies failed to see? All the best to him but I can't see him being a regular starter unless he can play RB! Seems to have done quite well at Basingstoke last year.
  22. 1. Tims 2. Buns 3. D U 4. Dons 5. Killie 6. Well 7. Jambos 8. Midden 9. Hibs 10. Accies 11. Falkirk 12. ST J I think it will be something like this - Celtic clear in 1st with h**s and D U battling for 2nd (D U look stronger this year but can Webster play against the h**s!) Anyone could be from 4th to 9th - Jambos & Hibs are Weaker, McGhee will do ok with the Dons, Killie with Kyle should do well, the Midden look stronger as well. I would be delighted with 6th for the Well (think it more likely to be 9th though). The bottom 3 will be battling relegation - cant see Eddie Maybe doing much with Falkirk - they will battle with the Farmers against relegation with the Accies staying just above them all season. The Midden or Killie for me could be the surprise package this year. The Well will be next year after our youngsters have been blooded this season (if we can keep hold of them)

    John Boyle

I agree 100%. The negotiations with Aberdeen over McGoo leaving further impressed me. I like the look of the Gannon appointment also. Doing a good job at the moment methinks!
  24. Hmmm. Assumption is the mother of all fuckups - so I've heard. Looks like he is still with Reading (is listed on their web site) and actually played with Basingstoke last year.
