  1. This is the greatest news of today: "Cristian Tanase from FC Arges signed FC Steaua, after FC Koln lost the fight with the Romanians" (ksta.de) GREAT GREAT GREAT Tanase is the left midfielder of Romania, wearing the t-shirt with number 10 and he is very young...

    John Boyle

I think in Romania there are centres now for all children from Eastern Europe...

    John Boyle

I don't know why there is no thread for your owner, but he has a great heart same as our owner. But maybe Mr. Boyle doesn't have a big mouth and likes to do these things in secret. I also don't know if he is a great owner or not, but as a person he deserves all of our respect. John Boyle is helping kids with incurable and terminal illnesses across eastern Europe and he is leading the Foundation "Children in distress" from 1992 in Romania too. His foundation is helping 600 children only in Romania and he is sponsoring it with more than 1.2 million of euros per year. Your chairman also missed some part of the match in Bucharest, visiting one of his hostels from there. He lost a match, but he saved a life. Very friendly person, when he arrived to the stadium from some reasons, I don't understand why, he didn't stay in the same lounge with Becali. It's strange because the owner of Steaua is inviting every owner in his lounge. Anyway, John Boyle was nice to say to our press, he will invite Gigi Becali in his lounge at 2nd leg and they will party and drink together. Even the things changed a lot in Romania after the fall of the communism and now we are pretty normal, also members of EU, and the state is helping these children, John Boyle didn't stop to sponsor his foundation from here. He is also spending his holidays in Romania and he is finding the Romanians to be warm and friendly people. IT'S STRANGE BECAUSE I THINK THE SAME THING ABOUT THE SCOTTISH! In the end, I have just one word: "RESPECT, MR BOYLE!" Helping people is more important than a game... Sometimes we are too stupid to see these things!
  4. We all read in press about his gesture and also at the tv. BRAVO! It's a lie that the Scottish are scrooge (avaricious)...

    Jim Gannon

I liked Gannon's declaration today, he said "Everton lost with 0-5 at Steaua 2-3 years ago". He was pretty right, but Everton lost 1-5 with Dinamo Bucharest. Here is the match: Here was the team of Everton at that hour, pretty the same team, it could have been 8-1 without problems for Dinamo but they stopped: Everton: Martyn 4 - Hibbert 4, Yobo 6, Weir 4, Valente 4 - Cahill 5, P. Neville 4, Davies 4 (71, Kilbane 4), Osman 5, McFadden 4 (76, Ferguson) - Bent
  6. yes, its possible! with Boro in the semifinal of UEFA in 2006 they had almost 2000. they have fans all over the world, I remember the fans from United States asked Steaua to have a tour there. Anyway, when Steaua plays in Italy or Germany they have 2000-3000 fans, when they play in Spain where is the biggest Romanian community, they have a lot. For example, on Santiago Bernabeu, there were 20.000. But Scotland is far...
  7. Only Arges bribed a referee in the last 20 years. At least this was official! FC Arges was relegated at the end of this season anyway. If you dont have proofs dont make stupid accusations. About the big clubs, yes, this is the same for Steaua and Dinamo, but especially because the all big newspapers from Romania are in Bucharest, even they have local editions in all Romania. But in comparation with Scotland, we have every game from Liga 1 at TV, they paid 96 mil of euros for the TV rights. We also have every team in Europe, even Vaslui, Timisoara, Urziceni or other teams. The Motherwell fans are right to be unhappy for not having the 1st match at TV. About Becali, yeah, he is non-conformist and speaking a lot of crap, he thinks he is Marlon Brando of Romania, but he has a good soul. After the 2005 floods, he funded with $4 million the rebuilding of about 200 houses destroyed by the overflow of the Siret river. He also paid million of euros for bulding new monasteries and rooms for sleep for the Romanian monks from the Athos Mountain in Greece... Anyway, its Becali's fault he is talking too much with the press. He likes to pretend he is a big star, now being in the European Parliament too. And Bucharest is full of paparazzi and journalists who write everything for the sensational... Here are our 2 biggest sport newspapers: http://www.gsp.ro/ (Gazeta Sporturilor, the equivalent of "Gazzetta dello Sport") http://www.prosport.ro/
  8. dont know yet, i didnt see any confirmation on the sites, not even on the official page... maybe just on the forums! our newspapers are focused today more on Timisoara-Shakhtar... dont understand me wrong, its interest for Steaua's game too because they have a lot of fans who are watching thegame even they won 3-0. but there are always 200-300 supporters who go in every country for Steaua, plus other who work in the region...
  9. Timisoara will try to eliminate the current UEFA Cup champion, Shakhtar, after 2-2 in Donetsk. Tickets sold out, 35.000 supporters expekted... It's big interest! At least in Timisoara who is in the West of Romania, some people from South are ignorants..
  10. Can you tell me please what are Albania 10 / Bucharest 176?
  11. They shouldnt include you in the same list, Aberdeen was beated by a nobody team Liberec and home, but you lost away and against Steaua, team who came from CL and they were there in the last 3 years in groups...
  12. I dont understand, the game would not be transmitted at your tv?
  13. Ahahaha! Nice pics! I am glad you enjoyed our country guys... But you must come back and visit "Club Bamboo"!
  14. FCSB

    Ruddy

He was your best in this 1st leg, but I cant make an opinion about him, a saved penalty means nothing. You better wait 1-2 more matches...
  15. So did you enjoy our country? They call us "gipsies" or other stuff or poor Romanians... no? By the way, nobody "visited" Club Bamboo? the biggest club from South-East! it's hugeeeeeeeeeeeeee... People come from all Europe even Central. There are 3 now in Romania, one in Bucharest, one in Mamaia near Constanta the seaside and one in Cluj-Napoca... Kelly Rowland this week-end in Bucharest and Lil' Kim the next week... but in Mamaia in the summer is great, Whitney Houston next week and also they have guests as Paris Hilton and Carmen Electra! Not joking... http://www.bamboosportingclub.ro
  16. How did you find the "Little Paris"? I want objective opinions! Live cameras from Bucharest: http://www.jurnalul.ro/webcam/piata-presei-libere-12.html
