  1. If we were chronic under Brown, what is this season?
  2. He's only one man though and there's only do much one man can do. I doubt he would've expected to be playing in a team so bad. He's now had the pleasure pf playing in the best and worst motherwell teams most of us have ever seen.
  3. I think that might be the worst yet, and after what I've witnessed this season that's saying something. That was Dundees first win in 7. It's possible we've actually got worse since Barraclough came in!!! He's not going to turn things round. He may well be on a hiding to nothing but there is nothing positive to take from that showing today. What was the plan in the 2nd half? Sometimes when a team have 10 men it's difficult to tell which team is a man down. In fairness, I'm not sure we actually did look any worse. Thomas showed some great touches but every other player, once again, should be ashamed to take their wages this week. People say Sutton is effective if you put the ball in the box for him, but he should surely be able to pass the ball 6 yards?!??its unfair just to single him out though. It's the same players making the same mistakes every single fucking week and has been since the Stjarnan game. Embarrassing and humiliating. Anyone still want to argue that the Malpas team was worse?
  4. Embarrassing stuff from the get go. Same old same old same old. Barraclough hasn't brought anything to the table. Might have well as given the job to Kenny Black. I'll be astonished if we stay up.
  5. I'd start with that team aswell (unless Hammell is fit). Bet it's the same team that started v Aberdeen though..... This is another 6 pointer. The wheels are off Dundee's bus at the moment but if we lose they go 8 points ahead. If we can win then they're right in the shite with us. Must not lose at least!!
  6. I'm neither up nor doon about this. After watching the highlights from the game yesterday again not a single one of our defenders is capable of staying with their man and/or tracking runs which is basic basic stuff so flying into tackles (or not) isn't where we're being undone.
  7. I don't think we'll bring anyone in. Don't think there are 2 brass farthings to rub together. Might hold onto Ojamaa and O'Brien till the end of the season but that's it.
  8. All these things should happen at Dens. I will despair (even more than I already am if that's possible!) if we line up with the same starting 11 as v Aberdeen.
  9. Good question. We may never find out, or at least ever be told honestly what it is but from where I'm sitting it looks like a perfect storm of an untalented, unmotivated, uninterested, unfit and unorganised squad mixed with (I suspect) a lack of leadership and experience off the park, unworkable, unsubstainable business model etc and throw in yer physio of 25 years leaving leading to having more players out injured than at any point in anytime in recent memory. With regards to the playing side of things it has been many many years since we had all of these elements combine at once and when you look at it logically it is no wonder any team suffering from all this would be so bad. My question would be, "who's fault is this?" as it could years to fix. Longer if we go down.
  10. What a difference Thomas and Erwin made when they came on. Watt looked ok as well. The long ball shite is absolutely killing us. Not convinced that was a deliberate handball and therefore penalty. At least we didn't get gubbed.
  11. Thistle and Dundee pulling away if it stays like this also.
  12. I'd agree with that. Why say what he said then do the opposite?
  13. So Kerr keeps his place? Wow, just wow. Bummer that Hammell is injured instantly again. Where is Law playing? Not going to the game, not even going to watch it now.
  14. I would give that a try as well. Sutton will start though and I fear Hammell will be injured.
  15. Keep it tight? The way we kept it tight yesterday? Or Celtic recently? Or Aberdeen at Pittodrie? Or Dundee at home? This team aren't capable of keeping it tight. Not having a go at anyone by the way, I agree with what folk are saying but has anyone seen any sort of game plan or endeavour so far this season? Hopefully O'Brien is back as in Kerr and McManus we have 2 of the most gutless, incapable, uninterested and unwilling centre halves we've ever had. Failing that, and with Hammell and Ramsden no doubt out, we'll have Ferguson and Reid also in the back four! Jesus wept! Could be 0-4 or 0-5 easily here but since the players seem to just shrug these defeats off pick up their reasonably handsome salaries and not give a fuck I guess we'll just have live with that.
  16. Just watched the highlights. Defending for the goals, particularly the ones where Kerr made an absolute arse of them was beyond pathetic. To think McCall punted Page and Saunders but re-signed this clown. Stunning. I'm not hugely impressed with O'Brien but he's streets ahead of Kerr.
  17. You make a good point Stu but when the same players are making the same mistakes and showing the same lack of interest, desire and ability week in week out over 23/24 games then you do tend to repeat yourself as there are only so many expletives and adjectives in the English language to describe the dross you are continually witnessing. What I will say is this collection of players have continually found new ways to be appalling. You think you've hit rock bottom, they'll take it to another level! Excepting and shrugging off 4-0 and 5-0 defeats with no reaction just seems to be the latest. Assuming Hammell and Ramsden are also now crocked the injury list could pretty much fill a starting 11 (the legacy of John Porteous leaving), what are abedeen going to do to us on Sunday !?!!
  18. That hits the nail on the head for me.
  19. There's got to be something going on or went on behind the scenes for this collapse and the consistent keech being served up week in week out. This isn't just a bad run; this is half an entire season of utter ineptitude and it shows no signs of stopping. Any wins we've achieved have been fluked and that is no basis for a game plan! I've heard from more than a few people that many of the team, especially the senior players, spat the dummy out and/or became disillusioned with not signing McFadden and Clarkson and so was I but guess what, you still need to knuckle down and get on with it!!! It would be interesting to hear exactly what is or has gone on to get us to this horrendous situation that we're in but we probably will never know. We used to have a great reputation of being a great place to come and ply football but that doesn't seem to be the case now. No apparent leaders and very few if any players playing for the jersey. Players content to pick up a wage for merely turning up.
  20. You should email that to the club Ya Beezer. The blame for this lies at McCalls door. Not that you'll read that in the press any time soon. That said, and early days as it is, you would've liked to have thought that Barraclough could've set up a team and have us sufficiently motivated to not lose 5-0?
  21. There unfortunately will be no "offloading" till the summer. Today was, if any further proof was needed, more confirmation that every single player who is out of contract in the summer should be punted, with McManus and Reid being told to find new clubs also.
  22. Team should be booed onto the pitch v Aberdeen and/or entire crowd should turn their back on them as they walk out. Childish? Perhaps. There's not an ounce of professional pride amongst the lot of them and it's time they knew it wasn't acceptable. It's beyond that. They have the honour of being known as the worst Motherwell team of the modern era. Malpas's team piss all over them.
  23. Worst motherwell team I've ever seen featuring some of the worst individual players. McCalls legacy. Goal difference is just gob smacking now and could prove crucial.
  24. Embarrassing stuff once again. Players should be ashamed of themselves. Absolute wage thieves.
  25. Utter pumping on the cards here. Far too easy for Accies. Wake up call to those who had thought we had turned the corner.
