  1. Positives are that we have 4 points from the last 2 games, getting the 3 points against United was more important than getting the 3 points yesterday.

Also the fact that the results went our way yeesterday, forgetting Hearts who are clear in 3rd imo

Nothing less than 6 points will do against Aberdeen and St Mirren though

  2. Just back from the game and Im fucking gutted we lost to that pile of wank

Controlled the game, passed the ball decently and generally played pretty well, much better than them.

Cant remember Buzz making a save and had a lot of solid performances, all the back 5, Klimpl, O'Brien, Sheridan and Hughes all decent.

Big dirty deflection aswell on the goal.

Fine fine strike from Hughes, immense celebrations too.

    Fuck them

  3. The next 4 games are...

    Away to Hearts

    Home to United

    Away to Killie

    Home to Aberdeen

Massive game on Wed, id take a point. I think we've got what it takes to beat an off form United team.

If we can get 4 points from our next 2 games then id say we are right in the Euro mix (Not the Vengaboys I hear you cry).

  4. Foran says....

I won't show any sentiment towards Motherwell, vows Caley Thistle new boy Richie Foran

    Feb 27 2009

INVERNESS Caledonian Thistle striker Richie Foran insists there will be no love lost when former side Motherwell visit his new home this weekend.

The 29-year-old was signed by Terry Butcher during his previous spell as Motherwell boss in 2004 - bagging 23 goals in 90 appearances for the Steelmen.

Now Butcher has brought his former charge back north of the border - and been instantly rewarded after the Irisnman opened his Inverness account in last weekend's 2-0 win over Hibernian.

And Foran is hoping for more of the same this weekend, despite coming face to face with old friends.

"I still keep in contact with a few boys there and, in all fairness, I had a really good time there," he said.

"It's like Inverness in the way it's a well-run club and has that type of family atmosphere to it where everyone's pulling together for each other.

"I have great memories of my spell at Fir Park. In fact, I was actually looking forward to going back there and playing but it's a home game for us and that's great for us to have a better chance of getting the three points.

"I think Motherwell will be okay, we'd like to drag them into the scrap but they'll be pushing for top six. They have a good squad, manager and play some good football.

"Hopefully, we can take three points off them on Saturday though.

"I've seen the highlights of their game against Celtic and they opened them up a fair bit, but hopefully with home advantage, we can do the same thing and get a couple of chances."

I say feckye! May all yer shites be hedgehogs!

As much as I dont have any affinity towards Foran theres nothing in that article that states he wont show any sentiment.

What do you want him to say? I wont be trying on Saturday cos I used tae play wae Murwell

  5. The bookies pricing on this game has gone a bit daft.

St Mirren were around 8/5 longest whereas we were about 15/8

In the last 24 hours we have been cut to 11/8 whereas St Mirren are out to 2/1 in some places

Strange, do the bookies know something we dont?

  6. In response to Frazzas post which it wont let me quote.

First of all, stop being a cheeky wee c**t, i really dont have a problem with us having differing opinions but the tone of your reply was sharp .

Youve shat it from Eddie before so dont start being wide again.

Secondly, i was at the game yes, although I suspect that question was rhetorical

Thirdly, O'Briens delivery wasnt very good, you cant blame it on nobody being at the front post. I dont mind O'Brien as he gets through a power of work but a winger should occasionally beat a man and put a good delivery in, IMO he didnt do that today.

Finally, he lost possession loads of times because he had his head down and tried to beat two men at a time. I dont think he had a bad game, then again i dont think he played particularly well.
