Was curious on this as well.
Either last season or tail end of one before, we took a big support down and pretty much filled our end - a large number of folk were buying their ticket at the wee office, and grabbed a seat wherever they could - there were a number of fans who'd obviously got their tickets from Motherwell and were far from happy at getting the dregs of the seats rather than the seat on the ticket - plenty of noise made about it, but no one was moving.
Expect the same, so get there early !

Exactly this. I had some guy moaning at me about being in his seat and the steward getting involved (not that the guy asked him too). There was someone in my seat and someone in the person in my seats seat.... bit of a shambles really.

Looking at the players brought in it smacks of a mindset that the standard of player in the league is far below what it is in reality. Aye, the Scottish game isnt up there with the likes of the Premiership and la liga but it's not that shite that the players brought in can give a decent performance.

In the first half Ferguson looked like he wanted to stay wide and was being told to come in and almost man mark, which he seemed totally uncomfortable doing because he was getting dragged all over the place

Don't know if its been posted but McCalls comments in the record are "I'm disappointed to be out but its not embarrassing. Everyone keeps going on about them being part time but they train every day and have lost one game in their last 16. But we should have won over the two ties and we haven't"

The boy on sky news was bouncing the ball on the pitch and from what they showed it was tiny parts in the corner at the goal line that were unplayable. Considering the amount of rain I'd say the pitch held up fairly well.

See, I'm the opposite. I read whatever I can find about Motherwell during the week, but barely glance at the stuff about other teams. So I don't really need to be reading stuff about Motherwell on the Saturday that I already know (e.g. yet another match report of previous game), but am quite happy to read stuff about our opponents that I don't.
I'd completely agree with this. I'd rather the programme had this "new" information than try and put a different spin on motherwell news I already know about

If anyone is planning on getting the train coming from glasgow through Blantyre they're off. I don't know about the other lines

And if anyone is heading through early for a pint the trains from Glasgow to Airbles (don't know about the other route) are all subject to delay just now (some cancelled)

We're spanish guys who love Motherwell since we were kids. There's not a big amount of them but the quality is the highest.
We love Scottish and worldwide Motherwell fans joining and making our page grow and spread.

Pretty disappointed with the decision to leave players at home really. To overturn the 2-0 is a big ask but I don't think to completely rule it out is the right attitude. Sure the league is important but it's only the second game of the season, if I had travelled I'd be pretty pissed off.

They'll have to have the Kuban section separate and probably don't count the main stand board members, comp tickets etc in that so we may be closer to selling out the cooper, east and main than it seems?
Cannot wait now. Desperate to get finished and get up Motherwell!

Was it werder bremen that got to the uefa cup final because a scrunched up piece of paper kept the ball in play at the end of the match allowing them to score?

I could be wrong but is the 8 quid not for the charity day they're having which the match just happens to be part of rather than the 8 quid being for the match? Can't remember what else is going on but I read something about it in the paper through the week

were is the guest terrace?
The away stand (the south stand) is the big one behind the goals to the right of the main stand (O'Donnell stand) as you look to the pitch. You can see it here

Krasnador drew with Rubin Kazan on Sunday past. Rubin Kazan were the team that knocked out Levante at the last 16 stage last year (agg 2-0) then beaten by Chelsea in QFs. So they are pretty good then
Just like we beat celtic and they beat barcelona...

Don't really see the drama with selling tickets with no seat number on. Probably to do with St Mirrens top class stewarding/policing policy.
