Suppose as a fan we never want to lose the good players but after years of money concerns, and the re-affirmation at the Well Society meetings that we have to sell regularly, I'm actually a wee bit disappointed that no one has been sold on particularly knowing that so may of them, will now be able to go on pre contracts in January and the others will approaching their last year so will have reduced valuations and with no one in, a year extension for one or two would have been nice I trust the board received offers and considered them to be below valuations, in that we couldn't replace players for the difference between the offer this week or expectations in January Think we need to explore longer contracts for our sellable players, but at the same time, think if you look around at what players get 'sold' the very model is looking vunerable

dare say a few nutters on here think worse than that but the board have been quite public about supporting McCall in trying to bring in players, whilst at the same time reminding all of us that we've got limits and that we'll need to sell at least one player it was only last month that the vote on new rangers was finalised and the majority were made fully aware of the finances and backed the club, yet now look at the hankering. but as these couple of years are all about restructuring our club to give it a sustainable future in the top league of Scottish football, I'd actually support the chance for the younger lads over signing a 'name' a fair chunk of the money available is and has been going towards setting us up with academy status, towards the future

quite simply, are we stable? NO, not in dire straits but,can any Scottish club be stable? when the league is in such a state the benefactor has gone and we've not sold a player for far too long only around 1000 fans so far have been able to contribute to the 'Well society, meaning only around a third of the cash required at bank will be available we made a loss last year season ticket numbers might be well up, but income from gates is unlikely to show a similar rise planned budgets cuts were in place due to last years loss before the Rangers saga, we might just get lucky and get through it, not quite as damaged as feared, but it should not be forgotten that without the backing of the funds, cashflow is still severely restricted between league payments and over the winter period but still the board have said some funds are available
