  1. Just in from our game against Rangers, Game finished Motherwell 1 Rangers 8. Very hard game for the girls against a strong rangers team. We only had 11 players to play this game with two missing, Rangers had 17 of a squad big disadvantage to start with. Bad day at the office for the girls. Next game against Falkirk, need to bounce back after todays result wallbash.gif

After our game was cancelled last week the under 15's girls played on Wednesday night at Stepps against Cumbernauld Colts, the 'well girls strolled to a easy victory scoring in their first attack., and thats how the match went for the entire match. Half time score 4-0. Second half was the same as the first , with a further 5 goals. Great result. Goalscorers Jamie-lee Dearie (4) Joanne Rae (3) Natasha Roberts (1) Hannanh Coakley (1). 3 league games played 2 wins and 1 draw. .Good start to the Season girls yahoo.gif

    .

Todays game was this morning at Hamilton Palace Grounds against Hamilton Accies in the League Cup. This game was a very tough game for the girls but it was Motherwell who were creating all the chances, and after 3 missed chances took the lead with a shot from Joanne Rae from outside the box, the accies keeper looked to have the ball under control only for it to slip under her body and into the net. yahoo.gif. The 'well Girls were bye far the better team, then a mix up between the well keeper and defence allowed hamilton to score into a empty net.. The Motherwell girls were missing loads of chances, but just before halftime Jamie-lee Dearie out muscled the Hamilton defence to curl a left foot shot into the top corner of the accies net. Half time 2-1 'well.. Second half was very tough, missed chances from both teams, but the 'wELL GIRLS HELD ON AND WON THE MATCH 2-1. Thats the girls into the semi-final. . VERY 'WELL PLAYED.notworthy.gif

  4. Motherwell Community 3 St Mirren 3. This game should of been won easily by Motherwell but for missed chances and errors, but it was the well girls that scored with minutes to go to finish 3-3. Motherwell goalscorer with 3 second half goals Jamie-Lee Dearie..

  5. Todays game for the U15's was away to Stenhousemuir in the League Cup. After last weeks cancelled game against Cumbernauld Colts . This was a very hard fought game with Stenhousemuir opening the scoring with ten minutes played. The 'well girls equalized ten minutes before half time with a great solo goal from Amy Anderson, and right on half time Rachel Deyoung made it 2-1 to the well girls. Second half the Motherwell girls took control of this match and played some great football with further goals from Joanne Rae (3) Hannah Coakley (1) Amy Anderson (1). Game finished Stenhousemuir 2 Motherwell 7. NEXT ROUND OF THE LEAGUE CUP AWAY TO HAMILTON. 'Well done today girls,. you will only get better.yahoo.gif

  6. Just in from our first league game this morning. Motherwell Community Trust Girls U15's 8-0 Falkirk FC . Great start to the season for the under15's girls. The girls played great passing football right from the first minute, and easily opened up the Falkirk defence on numerous occasions. Half time score 4-0. Second half was the same as the first with the 'well girls playing all the football on a very difficult playing surface. Four more goals were scored, a very good start to the new season. Goals from Amy Anderson (3) Joanne Rae(3) Leah McDonald (1) and first goal scorer of the new season Kelly Mitchell (1).yahoo.gif

  7. Good luck to the Motherwell Community Trust under 13's and 15's girls who's season kicks off this Saturday. The under 15's girls are in a very strong league with the likes of Celtic, Rangers, St.Mirren, Hamilton Accies.etc. Most of this team played for Wishaw Juniors Girls last season, reaching League Cup and Scottish Cup Finals, and finishing second in the League, so here's hoping the girls have a great season under Motherwell. The Girls will be at Fir Park this sunday at half time showing off their skills for all to see. The under 15's are playing at Braidhurst High School against Falkirk with a 10am Kick Off. So any extra support for the 'well girls would be greatly appreciated. I will posts the girls results for the coming season on this thread.

  8. Always remember that celtic game at fir park when Ian Ross scored that goal. ,In the cooper boxes they were full of celtic supporters who were giving us the get it up u from within . When we scored our goal everyone in our section ran to the said cooper box and gave them f**king dogs abuse. Yours truly was caught on camera giving it, get it right f**king up you, Qualitythumbup.gifthumbup.gif Those were the days!!!!!!!!!!

  9. What a huge change in our season, as I said on Hearts thread, THE SIGNING OF OJ HAS TRANSFORMED OUR SEASON.notworthy.gif. He has lifted our whole club top to bottom, no more giving players abuse, only encouragement, what a difference. THIS COULD JUST BE A VERY SPECIAL SEASON for us. thumbup.gif Lets start again on Wednesday against Hibs, one step at a time!!!!

    SUPER 'WELL

  10. What a great result yesterday, the players and the support are really up for our games now. Before Ojamaa signed we were low on confidence, our season was stalling, players were running out of ideas, supporters were on certain players backs, now since the arrival of Henrik, he has changed our team, all the players have taken a lift from him, and he has lifted the whole well support!! notworthy.gif Dont want to get carried away with myself, but this could just be a very special season for us.thumbup.gif

    SUPER 'WELL

  11. Would he get a game though? Two years with us, a good two years, and he could be off to the Championship with a bit of career behind him.

For the avoidance of doubt he should be informed of the existence of Paul Slane and the potential he had in 2009.

That one move SHOULD be enough to prevent players who have hardly ever kicked a ball at a senior competitve level from making such a move so soon in their career.

    100% Agree with you!!!!

  12. You may laugh about it but it wouldn't surprise me if they did.

Sorry to says this guy's , guess who was at fir park looking at Ojamaa yesterday.............Celtic :wank:

  13. Another great result today, fans were very vocal, the team really are fighting for each other, defence did well, midfield Lasley and Jennings played their usual game. Ojamaa's goals were well taken, but for me our man of the match was Darren Randolph, our best keeper ever!!notworthy.gif
