Do you mean that there are a bunch of freaky devil children on the wing of the plane ripping out the engine and only you and William Shatner can see it?
  2. That might well be Gannon's plan. In fact I think you're both right that that is what he's trying to do. I just don't think that it is working at all with Moutouakil. And while you need to give things time and let a player settle when you're trying to achieve a certain style of play, right now I think it is backfiring badly in his case. Gannon should try it with another player, even if they don't have Moutouakil's pace, because all he seems to have is pace with no end product and no defensive capability. Basically he currently appears to be useless as an overlapping fullback. As I've said, maybe in future he'll improve, but right now it's having an adverse affect on the team as a whole.
  3. I don't manage anyone, and my opinion is no better than yours. That's my point. It's an opinion which I, and others, are entitled to have without being called football illiterate fuckers. That makes it sounds like you are saying you know far better than anyone else. Hence the sarcasm.
  4. Well he's not doing it. He also should have had an assist for a goal Pathetic. Of course that's why you manage Man U isn't it? Get a grip. Personally, I didn't say I didn't like Gannon or his team, because I do. He's done well, is honest and speaks his mind, but that doesn't mean that you can't look at the team and see things you don't like as well as things you do like. Some players play badly but can be coached or come onto form. O'Brien's done it this season after some poor displays last season. But he got dropped and maybe had a few words from Gannon and some coaching before he settled and started performing better. Would we watch the team if it was a team full of duds managed by Berti Vogts and just sit and applaud? I think Moutouakil is costing us goals, and giving no benefit in attack. He might improve in future (can't see how right now, but it's possible). That is my opinion, and I'd rather he wasn't playing because I think it would improve the team, which is at the end of the day the point. If a player could obviously be replaced to improve the team, then that's what you want. It's not about hating him, it's about having the best team possible on the pitch.
  5. Was in the South stand for that game. I remember being relieved but frustrated at the same time that we'd left it to require that to stay up. Big Mitch was bemused at that fans waiting for a lap of honour from the team. He thought we were ecstatic just to stay up and it helped his decision to leave because he thought that if our ambitions were that low, then he'd be better elsewhere. Maybe if someone had explained to him that it was just because everyone was so relieved, then he might have thought twice... maybe.
  6. He's all over the place. Literally. He drifts off up the park, or out of position, and stands watching while other people do his job, or while we lose goals. And it's not just because he's getting up the park to attack. He just doesn't seem to know where he's meant to be and jogs about in the wrong places looking lackadaisical. He almost never actually beats the first man with his crosses, and if he does they are brutal. His only plus point is his pace, and possibly his first touch. Right now though, he is a severe problem within the team which is giving other teams chances and costing us wins. I am amazed that Gannon keeps playing him, even if he thinks he has potential. Maybe if he was played on the right wing instead of right back I could understand his inclusion, but he so rarely does anything good going forward either that it would seem pointless. It would seem more sensible to leave him out for at least a while(and maybe get someone to explain his position to him), and play someone who can defend for a while. At least that would be something.
