  1. Is there a third Motherwell Forum, or has Mr Traynor been caught bullshitting again?
  2. That's the amazing part of it. When I last look no one brought it up. You do a fuck up like that on here, you'd be slated for the next 6 months Fucking idiots
  3. Draw still seeded? If so good - as long we miss Rangers. Queen's Park would be perfect.
  4. 13 days at least, due to the international break
  5. Sadly it is the other Dundee they are playing.
  6. Might do an FM challenge with them since they were the most successful club in Belgium until the War
  7. No not for the SPL. The SFL yes, not the SPL. Think we'll sign a couple in the next week like Lobby says though
  8. Don't know - ask McCall, it basically what he said after the Levante home leg. Also, sure my last line would have summed up those two players deals with us (unless we had close ties with either - which supposedly Brown did with Kean....) Although not sure if the FA's victory over FIFA was before or after the Juke (regarding ownership of player registration/number of clubs over a season).
  9. This, although I think we'll win both. 2-0 - Higdon and Law with the goals in this one
  10. As mentioned before good idea, but there are a couple of things that hamper our attempts at this. The FA do not include 30-93 day loans as a transfers. The registration stays with the parent club, this means in theory a player based in England can play for 11 different clubs as long as he stayed in England. As soon as he moves to a foreign country (which in football terms Scotland is) the 30-93 day thing goes out the window, as does the free playing slot the other English clubs can provide. Many loan deals now include six, sometimes even seven figure sums being paid by the club wishing to take the player, not to mention 100$ wages by said. If they are of real quality the likelyhood is there possible be a Championship or League 1 club that could both pay the fee, and the wages along with the fact the above could come into play (along with a recall on demand clause - which would be unavailable on a seasonal loan). The Football League Loan (Transfer?) window ends on 1 April 2013.... leaving these Premier League clubs plenty of time to get their younger players "game time" Of course, if there is a club out there who wants to put a player on the market - they could do worse than sending to us, as our past in recent times looks ok.
  11. This (although the cup final wasn't last season )
  12. You are correct if the person they hire is over 21.
  13. From the Scottish Football Thread on another forum I post on....
  14. Where the hell you get that? 150/1 at William Hills!
  15. No hopefully. If it is on, there will be a link posted
  16. The problem we have now if we bring anyone in is, if they are permanant signings, they'll be free transfers. What have they been doing to keep themselves fit? If we sign McFadden - at least we know he's been training, and will only suffer from match sharpness - others may not have had the same opportunity to have facilities available to them. As for getting loan signings, it depends if anyone else would want them. Premiership/Championship side sends player on loan to us and get £0 for it or send to other Premiership/Championship/League 1 side and get a few hundred grand for their trouble. Really a no brainer. They also have the whole fact if it is a loan to another English side, they have an option of sending them for between 30-93 days without it adding to playing for another club if they choose to use him/sell him/loan him out again to another English club.
  17. Sadly, nowadays getting the ball =/= a fair challenge.
  18. The SPL club cannot loan outside the international transfer window unless special dispensation is given. McCall was talking about loans after the match and how hard it is to match the English leagues because clubs are now looking for six figure sums (at least) for loans along with players and clubs look for 30-93 day loans only.
  19. That is fucking annoying when the fans do that You don't need to be quick, but the whole idea of holding onto the ball, between the midfield and defence is that you force gaps to open up - those gaps don't always open up, but sometimes they do, but we're so intent at times to passing it out to either left wing or right wing, which leaves our wingers aiming for one player out of 6 in the box, as our midfield have decide to hang about, and stay outside the box.... just in case we need to move it to the other wing. We need someone to sit in, while we let Law do what we know he can.
  20. It's Steelmenonline, are you really that shocked. BB is onto something. Will go 4-1 though

    Ojamaa

Yes like a free ranging Nicky Law... But even he recently been guilty of the must pass out wide pish we seem to be seeing more than anything. But this could be because if it doesn't work then there is Fuck all to cover
  22. Not sure what that has to do with anything. As I am not the one caught up in where a team who ended in a position last season despite them losing key players from that side and another from this not being able to travel.
