Listened to a bit on the radio - Forbes was subbed later on and Lawless took his place! Derek Ferguson and Billy dodds agreed that Forbes was a good player, but would be more effective playing the simple ball rather than a defence splitting pass all the time; compared him to a young Charlie Adam.........slow and fat ?

And to think Ross Forbes was called Forbregas by some

Feck it , I'm going for Ojamaa. OK, so Nicky Law was outstanding , but the wee man had as good a game as I've seen for a while and gets my vote. Great shift from Carswell too.

Carswell reminds me of a young Phil with his running style and ability to stretch his leg and get a telling touch. His best game since that Hearts away game when he first appeared on the scene I think. Just watched Higdon's first - seems BBC was right, Ojamaa a bit embarassed by a mis-hit shot!

Jamie Murphy. Played like he had no fear and was a constant threat with his pace and directness.

Yes a back three as above, but more of a 3-5-2 as I saw it. Certainly Hateley was deep allowing Lasley to get further forward, although his shooting was predictably poor. The back three were up against a front three of Celtic , and has been said, Kerr was continually beaten for pace by Samaras and Celtic could have been in easy street but for some good saves and poor finishing. Was amazed McCall didn't change it, but to be fair Kerr got better 2nd half , although their goal came from a Samaras cross. Good to see Jamie sign off with a gutsy and skilful display .

Might be a spanner in the works as they could re-schedule yesterday's postponed Ross Co v Hearts for 2nd Feb

McCall said Law was touch and go to make the cup game, but decided against it due to the conditions. Hopefully back for Saturday, badly missed through the week. 1-1 by the way
