Had a chat with Clarky, Darren Smith and Jim Paterson at one of the open days a couple of years back. They were very down-to-earth guys, and easy to talk to. Also bumped into Accies' Willie Jamieson and Gerry Colllins years ago in Glasgow, with Collins acting the big guy and going to fight some guy

Voted for big Lukas over Hump and Craigan. The big man's getting a lot of stick, but I think he's improving with every game. Difficult task leading the line on his own, but giving it his best shot.

Certainly talks a good game, and is learing the management game as assistant to Chisholm at QOS. Suppose he's got the best of both worlds just now with the punditry and the hands-on experience. That's 2 games in a row where we've played a very patient build-up passing style. Although we played a passing game in the Europa Cup games and v Killie, I thought it was at a much faster pace, and as a result were able to break down the opposition defence. Wasn't at Gers game, but suspect it would have to be faster and sharper against them anyway?
