It would put them more in the middle of the 'well fans and then there could be a proper "mini bois" section in the Cooper too for more of the stuff we seen yesterday. Surely there's more chance of spreading the singing when they're surrounded by other folk rather than a 90% empty South stand for most games?

All McCall's statement means is that we won't be getting any loans in. We wouldn't be paying a fee anyway so the transfer window doesn't really affect a club our size. I may be wrong but are the "community projects" not mainly funded from grants etc? Therefore the reading garden and probably the new astro won't be using up funds that could have been used elsewhere. I thought the reasons for replacing the turf mentioned by the groundsman on MFCTV seemed sensible enough so can't complain about that either. It seems to be only the top layer of grass being replaced so nowhere near the scale of the work done previously.
