  1. I wonder, though, will Thomson be determined to do a 100% accurate job on Saturday as that will say everything he needs to. Another inept, incompetent performance will just show everyone how right Jimbo has been.
  2. Mebbes wages won't be an issue. Signing-on fee could offset that, sure it has been done before.
  3. That about sums it up really, off the ball and serious foul play I think.
  4. Watched the winning goal a good few times and Ruddy was quite literally a finger-tip off turning that over the bar. A matter of cm from what could be goal of the season becoming save of the season. Not as a certain Andy Wan*er, yer a Walker, said...... As for the McGeady incident, he should have been sent off. If was violent conduct, kicking out at an opponent. He knew exactly what he was doing, and sought to injure a fellow pro. Had his studs connected with Forbe's knee, it could have caused serious damage. Don't need to be a forced impact, you've got Forbes running towards him and a kick back doubling the impact.
  5. I see Alexander wants outa Ibrox for some regular footie....

    Celtic

I thought that Gannon responded to Celtic's moves. They began to bypass their midfield by placing four strikers on to go for the win, almost like the game was being played without a midfield at that point.
  7. Just a wee point....how can anyone complain about standing in the East Stand when the entire South Stand was allowed to stand for the entire game yesterday?
  8. Whatever is said in public I'd imagine usually does not become replicated in the dressing room.
  9. Wonder why Gannon didn't demand someone threw the ball into the net before the end of the 0-0 at Parkhead earlier in the season......
  10. McGeady should've been sent off simply for constantly moaning the face off every time something went against his team. I always thought it was the Captain of a team who was the only one allowed to approach the Ref to question anything, yet this idiot is forever in the face of a Ref. He did it constantly yesterday.
  11. Can't believe our manager would ever want the opposition to win, no matter the circumstances. Simply didn't (and wouldn't) happen.

    Ibrox

Remember that so well. Almost ended up on the park we all fell down the stairs celebrating wildly. Brilliant night that one!
  13. I'd think there are only three reasons Ruddy would be going in January. Either he's going to be No.1 or 2 at Everton, or they are about to sell him. If none of that applies, then it's in his and Everton's interests to keep him where he is.
  14. If you are going to be honest, then a team which cost a massive amount in comparison to ourselves struggled to beat us. Three outstanding finishes beat us today, and they played to their abilities in the second half to get the points. We did superbly to score two goals and get close to them. No 6-1 gubbing as was mentioned previously, no humiliation. Some very good posession football but with a lacking cutting edge.Delighted to go in ahead but we are still someway short of the finished article. Once Gannon has moulded the team he wants then we'll be fine. Bigger picture far as I am concerned.
  15. Visibility in Motherwell is over 100 yards, long as you can see one goalpost form the other the game will go ahead.
  16. I remember back in the late 80s we drew 0-0 with Celtic at Fir Park and it was seriously fog-bound but the game went on. Missed the game as I was at a successful Interview for an Overseas Rep with a tour operator but you could hardly see in front of your nose even in the centre of Glasgow. I would be, however, very surprised indeed if the game is in any doubt with fog.
  17. They have done so in the past. 22nd May 2005 anyone?
  18. Dundee United offishel site has it as 1pm at Creamery Park, Bathgate.Aaaarabs
  19. I bet the Falkirk fans a few weeks back thought, not long after a 0-4 scudding at home from Celtic, they were in for another tonking. 3-3, and they were unlucky not to win. No reason why we can't win, none whatsoever.
  20. Nothing to fear. As poor a Cellic team as I've seen in nigh-on 30 years watching Motherwell up against them. Direct everything towards their centre-halves and that's where we'll get most joy. Can't believe they so convincingly won last weekend but as McGhee admitted his side were completely and utterly rank rotten. We're due to hit some form, it's been there in fits and starts the past few weeks (Easter Road was clearly an exception) and if Falkirk can take 3 off this lot, then why can't we?
  21. There's always the chance he could be the next think, or not. If he signs, gotta give him a chance.
  22. I wonder when the Herald reporter will be able to spit the lemon oot his gob. That's one bitter, bitter person. The report made it sound like Hibs should've won by double figures, even as bad as we played it was never that.
  23. Shellic aint scary. Abersheepymehs were absolutely rank, and that was an admittance by McGhee him self. Just gotta be up for it.
  24. Wouldn't have mattered a jot what JG said to the Meejia today. They'd have twisted every single bit of it. And unless it was live, that'd have been twisted too. It's an old saying, but good news never made the front page.
